The pair made their way from the train station and started their journey back to Nishimura’s house.

“You might hurt your head if you keep thinking that hard,” Tsukishima was brought back to reality after hearing (F/n)’s voice.

“What are you, my mom?” Tsukishima replied as he focused on the path ahead of them.

(F/n) giggled and squeezed his hand, “do you want to talk about it?”

Tsukishima pursed his lips together before sighing, “You said on the train that there is a universe where we’re together,”

(F/n) nodded.

“How?” Tsukishima asked, “How could someone like you love someone like me?”

(F/n) tilted her head with a frown, “what do you mean?”

Tsukishima was frustrated and let go of her hands, “I told you my life story, how I was a rude asshole to everyone just because I felt betrayed by my own brother. I told you how I treated everyone like shit, shooting people’s dreams down just to make myself feel better,” he looked at her, “and you’re you. You cared so much about the happiness of others to the point where it didn’t matter if you were getting hurt in the process. You sacrificed yourself to ensure the success of those around you,” he was visibly upset, “how?”
