Stefan's pov:

I'm at the Mikaelson's house. Klaus invited me over so he and Elijah could tell me about my brother and Aisha's mother,Hannah.

"So I assume you didn't know your brother killed Aisha's mother" Klaus said

Before i could answer,Damon called me

Klaus nodded so I picked it up

"Stefan where are you?" Damon asked

Klaus moved his head in disapproval

"I'm outside,just getting some air,what's going on?" I lied

"Me and Aisha are back together"

Klaus stood up as soon as he heard ready to scream something but I shushed him

"But didn't she..cheat?"I asked confused

"No no she didn't. In fact,she thought i left her. Crazy right? Anyways we talked about it and figured things out" Damon sounded so happy

"I'm glad. Um can i call you back later?"

"Sure"

I hang up and noticed Klaus staring at me angry
Elijah was standing right next to him unbothered

"Tell that brother of yours that his happiness with MY Aisha won't last long" he poured a drink for himself

"Oh yeah?" I asked "what are u gonna do?" I started getting closer to him

"I'm gonna tell her what her lil boyfriend did to her mother" he smiled

"Then I guess i'm gonna have to tell them what you did to her d-"

"I did it to protect her" he screamed as he was getting closer to me

"I did it to protect her" he repeated less loudly this time and looked right into my eyes with anger

"Stefan it was nice to see you but i think you should go now" Elijah said before I could answer to Klaus

I smiled at him and got out of their house

I should probably go back home and have a little talk with Damon

Damon's pov:

Stefan finally came back home

I was ready to tell him everything about last night but he stopped me

"Tell me about Hannah" he said

When I heard that,my heart started beating so fast i thought it would explode

"But you know" I slowly said

"You never told me why"

"Oh come on Stefan" I sighed

"I'm not gonna cover for you if you won't tell me why. Why would you do something like that"

"Because I'm selfish. That's why" I raised my voice without realizing it "I'm a selfish man who did a selfish thing. Simple as that"

Stefan stood there staring at me and I couldn't help but start thinking about the day I found out Aisha's gone

*5 years ago*

💭I decided to go to the Grill for a beer. Didn't have much to do anyways

I was sitting on my table,alone with my beer,minding my own business when I realized Rebekah and Elijah was sitting on the table across the room

I didn't have any intention of hearing what they were talking about but I overheard Aisha's name so I focused and started listening

"So she really left?" Elijah asked

"Yes. Klaus is a mess right now I don't know what to do"

Aisha left? What are they talking about?

"So when is she coming back?" Elijah sounded so calm

"I don't know"Rebekah sighed "She said that she'll come back once her mother calms down"

"Her mother? What does she have to do with that?"

"She thinks Aisha killed her father. Haven't you heard?"Rebekah sounded surprised

"Oh God. Does Aisha know that-" Elijah tried to continue his sentence but Rebekah shushed him and looked around to see if anyone was hearing them

Good thing they didn't notice i was there

"No she doesn't know. No one can know" Rebekah said

I didn't like the fact that Aisha was gone but I could live with that. I mean it's been 3 years since we were together so it shouldn't be hard

But then 1 year passed

Then 2

And then 3,4,5

Years kept passing by and Aisha never came back home

I had to do something I couldn't live like that anymore

I was so busy thinking about that ,I didn't realize Stefan was talking to me

"Damon are you listening to me?" he asked annoyed
