Harmony Unveiled

PROLOGUE

Waking up is the most difficult thing to do in the morning. Ayoko pa sanang bumangon kung wala lang maingay na kumakatok sa pinto ko. 

"Shaine Athena Filomena wake up!" Hays, how did she enter my condo? I got up from the bed and reluctantly opened the door. "How did you get here?" I asked the moment my door opened. "Wow, good morning sa akin ha." She rolled her eyes as she said that. She sat down on my bed and sighed. "So, why are you here nga?" I asked her again. "My gosh, Shaine. Pinsan mo ako, ayaw mo ba ako makita?" I squinted my eyes because of her question. Duh, magkasama kaya kami last night. I invited her to one of my parties kahapon, well, I wasn't the one who hosted the party, it's just, a friend of mine whom I met in my agency asked if I can go to her party. then, ayun, it was a party for me pala since I closed another deal with a record label. 

"What do you want from me ba? Magkasama tayo kagabi, Nea. 'Wag ako." Now, it's me who rolled eyes at her. "Uwi ka raw, sabi ni Tita. Birthday ni Tito Anto--"                                                   "And? It's not like I care, Nea." Putol ko sa gusto niyang sabihin. It's been five years since I left our house. My dad found out that mom was cheating so, he wanted to see the guy. Unfortunately, he died in a car crash. Ever since my dad died, everything changed. My mom and that guy and got married after a year. And ever since they got married, I started hating mom. Ayaw niyang maniwalang I saw that guy kissing another woman. Eventually, mom got pregnant and forgot about me. So, when I met Mama Glenda, my manager, I decided to leave our house and never come back for good. "Ang tagal na no'n, Shaine. Kahit si Tita man lang, ayaw mo ba makita?" Alam kong hindi siya titigil hangga't hindi ko pa nasasagot tanong niya. "Nea, why do I want to se the person who broke the family apart?" It still hurts. Kung hindi lang sana nagloko si mama, then none of this would've happened.

Nea left my condo after we talked. I was feeling lonely again. I missed dad. I missed her. After dad died, She was the one who comforted me. My light, my savior, my home. I still miss her. After all those years that passed, siya parin ang gusto ko. Ang mahal ko. 

It's already five in the afternoon when I got up again. Nea is calling me. She's so annoying, gosh. "What do you want now?" I asked, irritated.
"Tara party! Sunduin kita, hehe." Sagot niya na parang nahihiya.
"Have you forgotten that I'm a celebrity now?" Hindi naman sa ayaw ko, gusto ko lang siyang asarin. Kahit kasi ngayon na isa na akong sikat na singer, mas gusto ko paring nasa club kami ng mga friends ko kung tatambay. Screw reputation, screw paparazzi. I came here for fun.
"Okay. Mag-aayos lang ako." May iilan pa akong narinig na nagsasalita so tinanong ko kung sino. "Sila Jace lang andito, tara na! Nasa baba kami ng condo mo." Wait, what? So, kahit pala umayaw ako, since nandito na sila, wala pala talaga akong choice kasi alam kong kukulitin nila ako. Tsk." Nag-ayos na ako, kaunti lang dahil ayoko silang pag-antayin. I wore my black bralette with a black blazer, and black short skirt as my bottom. I also wore my high-necked boots to pair up with my outfit. Maikli naman buhok ko, so hindi ko na kailangang ayusan pa ito. Bumaba na rin ako after, dahil baka mainip lang sila.

Nasa club na kami, at labas pa lang ay maririnig mo na ang mga taong nagsasaya. Regulars na kami sa club na 'yon kaya hindi na kami hinarang pa. Dumiretso kami sa gilid, may iba pa palang kasama. Nagulat ako nang makita ko si Melanie, yung friend kong nakilala ko sa agency. Nandito rin yung mga dati naming kaklase, so parang reunion nga ang naganap. "Omg, the star is here!" Sigaw ni Melanie habang papalapit sa akin. Iginiya niya akong umupo sa tabi niya at inabutan ako ng drink. Wow ha, kakadating ko lang. We just talked about our lives, habang ang iba naman ay nasa dancefloor na. I drank moderately, dahil alam kong ako nanaman ang magd'drive kapag nalasing 'tong si Nea. I was just sitting on the sofa enjoying my drink when Nea hurriedly came up to me. "Gagi, Shaine si ano..." Hindi ko siya marinig nang maayos kaya lumapit ito sa akin. "She's here..." Hindi ko alam kung sino ang tinutukoy niya, pero nung lumingon ako sa gilid, there, I saw her looking at me. "Trisha..."
