Lambo was the last guardian to understand the importance of the rings. That didn't mean that Lambo didn't take care of it like the others. However, the reason was very different from what one may think.

-... lighting! - The figure messing with his hair and listening patiently to every word, not getting mad for his manners or the vanishing candy, only smiled even more seeing a ring that was now complete being presented to him.

- Well done, Lambo. - Dad had a shining smile. A smile he hasn't seen before and made him wonder why he hasn't till now. - Dad is so, so, proud of you. - It wasn't the first time Lambo heard that. It was never in that tone...

- Lambo just took care of it like dad said I should? - Lambo hasn't done anything else, if he was being honest. They took it from him for a while...

Lambo didn't take that well. No one let him try to recover it, though. His subordinate recovered it for him, not getting mad about it in the first place. It was odd.

- And that's why dad is so proud of you. - Dad smiled even more, raising one of his hands in the air.

To the great shock of the kid, an orange flame showed up in that same hand. Specifically in that ring that dad never took off. Lately, he noticed others' hands being raised up, and only because others' flames showed up. One red, another blue and then one yellow. They were pretty, he has never seen something like-

- Dad? - Lambo didn't get it. Why did dad want him to raise his hand too?

- Someday you will show your own flames, but till then remember this. - The hand with the ring came back down, getting close to his own, to his ring. A little green flame, like lighting, came to life. - This ring is a symbol that we are family, all of us. We will always be together as long as you keep that ring with you. - Flames vanished. Hands got away. Any of that was in Lambo's mind at the moment. - That is why I want you to take good care of it. No matter where you go, everybody will know you are part of our family, my son. No one will hurt you and if they do... - A tilt of the head and almost sleepy eyes, suddenly. - Well, they won't like what would happen.

Without waiting for him to process all that, dad took the ring and hid it in his hair, where it once was, with a kind smile.

- No matter where you are or where you go. Just look at that ring and remember that your family is waiting for you with open arms. And if you lose it, nothing will happen. - A kiss to his forehead. - We will know you did all you could to not lose it. Your life is more important to us than a silly ring.

Like his words were not enough, Lambo was a victim of eyes close to being orange with a calm and sweetness that was more than enough to want to do anything his dad wanted.

Lambo could take care of a ring. He had already done it, it wasn't that difficult. Lambo had no idea it mattered so much. He wasn't going to lose a symbol of being part of the family, even if he didnt even know the others...

- Da-puff!

Lambo frowned and gave the evil eye to the bazooka that once again gave him too little time.

- Thank God! - Lambo blinked several times and looked back, finding his subordinate almost with his tongue out. - Thank God I found you...

His subordinate was sweet too. He wasn't that bad. A fairytale and some candy won't be bad either, and his subordinate had nice tales. Those weren't as good as dad's, but no one was like dad so...
