It was a winter's night. It was foggy and damn cold. My hands felt like ice packs.

Dad had taken us to his new workplace. The Museum of Natural History.

I was impressed. It was nice job.

Personally I never wanted my dad to be an executive and do a clerk's work all day long. A job of drudgery if you ask.

Now I could probably watch the exhibits and read about them.

Which obviously I couldn't finish in the daytime, because it took the whole day. With SO many people going about.

Now I was there and it would be completely isolated.

That is to say, apart from my brother, and my father.

"So long Pop! What's the surprise?" I asked my Dad for the tenth time.

"How will it remain a surprise if I tell you what it is? Please Rian." My Dad being patient answered me in his calm voice for the tenth time.

We reached the steps of the museum. Here we go.
"Dad....aren't you forgetting something?"

"Am I?"

"Yep."

"Which is?"

"You'll come to know."

We came up to the door. It was being guarded.

"Yes?" Asked one guard.

"I'm the night guard." Answered my dad.

"Your I.D?"

"Uh...Yeah...wait one sec." My dad started searching rapidly for his I.D.

"Are you searching for this?" I asked dangling it from it's cord.

"Oh good lord, thanks Rian! I simply didn't fancy a ride back home."

"No prob kid." I said with a goofy smile.Dad gave me a 'seriously?'  look ,slowly smiled and rolled his eyes.

I just stood there with my goofy grin as Nick stood there smiling. Both knew I was such a goof ball.

The guard Dad was talking to smiled.

He took the ID,checked it, and well, let us go in.

Dad told us to wait at the reception while he asked people to clear out. Nick was glad with the computers he had got hold of.

I asked Dad if I could accompany him.

We asked most people to clear out.

Soon, we headed for the inner rooms. Most were empty apart from people here and there.

In the room of Sacajawea, there was lady in red staring at her.

My Dad called out to her.

She turned.

Rebecca.

I smiled as I came to know who it was. She grinned back at me.

"Do you guys know each other?" My Dad asked.

"Uh yeah Dad. This is Re-"

"Rebecca. She's the receptionist here. I've met her already."

"Yeah and well we met a year ago. Rebecca this is my Dad."

"Cool." She replied with a smile.

"Yeah it's cool and everything and I'm seriously very sorry to interrupt the conversation....but it's closing time Rebecca." Said my Dad.
