Percy's pov

The stadium went dark and the crowd went wild. Breath in breath out, I told myself. The platform under me moved up and I could see the thousands of people packed into MetLife Stadium.

The music started and I prepared myself for the first words by taking one more deep breath. You've done this a million times you can do it again. I've got this.

(Song: all you had to do was stay. By Taylor swift)

“People like you always want back the love they gave away.” The lights turned back on and you could see me in the middle of the stage. The crowd got even louder. If that was even possible.

“And people like me wanna believe you when you say you've changed
The more I think about it now, the less I know
All I know is that you drove us off the road
Stay
Hey, all you had to do was stay
Had me in the palm of your hand
Then why'd you have to go and lock me out when I let you in?
Hey, now you say you want it back
Now that it's just too late
Well, it could've been easy
All you had to do was (stay)
All you had to do was (stay)
All you had to do was (stay)
All you had to do was (stay)
All you had to do was stay”

They rest of the song flew by, the word slipped of my tongue just like when I was writing them. And surprisingly it didn't make me too sad thinking about Drew again. Maybe I'm moving on.

I went on to sing me other two songs before stopping.

“What's up New York!” My voice boomed through the stadium. I got a bunch of cheers in response.

“I'm so happy to be here and I'm even happier to share my new songs with you all. But we don't want to forget the past, so I'm going to sing all of my most popular songs from each of my 5 albums.”

More cheering erupted throughout the whole stadium.

“And I know some of you guys have traveled long distances to be here so I must say… Welcome to New York!!”

The next music started and I got ready again.

(Welcome to New York by Taylor swift)

“Walkin' through a crowd, the village is aglow
Kaleidoscope of loud heartbeats under coats
Everybody here wanted somethin' more
Searchin' for a sound we hadn't heard before
And it said
Welcome to New York, it's been waitin' for you
Welcome to New York, welcome to New York
Welcome to New York, it's been waitin' for you
Welcome to New York, welcome to New York
It's a new soundtrack, I could dance to this beat, beat forevermore
The lights are so bright, but they never blind me, me
Welcome to New York, it's been waitin' for you
Welcome to New York, welcome to New York”

I sang a bunch more songs lasting about an hour and a half. But before I knew it, it was my last song, I had special plans for this one.

“Well I had a blast with all of you but unfortunately this must come to an end. But before that I would like to thank all my friends who are here tonight. They have sported me through all of life. Weather it's been for a day or 15 year they have loved me for me. So I want to welcome them all up here for my last song.”

(Song: That's what makes you beautiful by one direction.)

I ran to the front over the stage as the music started.

Annabeth's pov

The concert was amazing and our seats were amazing, we were right at the front of the stage front row.

When Percy mentioned people who have been his friend for only a day I was sure he meant me, which meant that I was going up on that stage.. and that meant total embarrassment if I fell down.. maybe this isn't the best idea.

Percy got to the bottom of the stage and reached his hand down to Hazel, easily pulling her up on the stage with one hand, he repeated that until he got to me, I was the last one. I was honestly very surprised when he pulled frank and Luke up there, they weren't small people but he did it.

“You don't know oh, oh!” He sang beautifully. Then he pulled me up and wrapped his arm around my waist.

“You don't know you're beautiful.” It felt like he was singing directly to me. With how he looked into my eyes while he sang the lines. He then let go of me and I joined the jumping and sang the words like everyone else.

“You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
You don't know
Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful
Oh oh
That's what makes you beautiful” Percy sang into the microphone without a care in the world.

Then he took my hand and spun me around. He had his arms around my waist briefly before letting go.

Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell

You don't know
Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful

Baby, you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell
You don't know
Oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful (Oh)

The song ended and we exited the stage.

Everyone had started had left it was just Piper, Jason, Annabeth and me.

“Annabeth, me and Jason can drive you back to your place if you need a ride.” Piper said

“Oh no I can ask my mother-.” Annabeth got cut off by Percy putting his hand on her shoulder.

“I'll drive you back Annabeth.” I said.

“Ok, thanks.” She smiled up at me, her gray eyes somehow shining even in the dark.

“bye Annabeth, bye Percy!” Piper said before skipping away pulling Jason alongside her.

I led Annabeth to my car. I had my black Chevrolet Corvette with me today. I loved how cool it looked.

I opened her door for her before making my way over to the driver's side. I turned on the engine and we zoomed away.

“Can I have your address?” I asked.

“Sure.” Annabeth replied before telling me her address.

“Wow you live in the apartment right next to mine!” I said

“I never knew that.” She said with a puzzled look on her face.

The rest of the car ride was short and when I got to her building I walked her inside to make sure she got home safe and sound.
