Chapter 5

Percy's pov

“Ok the groups are, James, Clara, Max and Naomi.” Mr Apollo started announcing the groups for the rest of the year. “ Then we have Calypso, Travis, Conner and Leo.” He continued. “The next group is Cameron and Jack who are our only group of two.”

“And last but not least, Annabeth, Frank, Piper and Percy.”

Yes! That is exactly who I put down. I looked around and everyone seemed to be happily chatting and smiling. It seems like everyone got who they put down or at least being with their friends.

“We won't have any assignments with your groups until Friday this week but this is a hint of what's to come this year.” Mr. Apollo said. “Anyways, class is over now, you are all dismissed for lunch.” Everyone packed up their stuff and set off for the cafeteria.

I walked into the cafeteria and sat down at the usual table where I saw Jason and Luke already at. I sat next to Luke and motioned for Annabeth to sit on my other side.

Even after a year lunch was still the same, absolute chaos. Everyone is screaming, pranks being pulled and a small food fight. It was only the first day of school and the was already chaos, now I remember why I came back, for this.

Annabeth's pov

Lunch was crazy just like my group of friends. I was both happy and sad when the school day ended, I loved being with my friends but it was also stressful.

Once I got home mom told me she wanted to go out to dinner with me at a fancy restaurant in New York city. I happily agreed since I loved spending time with her.

The restaurant was a short distance from our apartment. It was called Atera and it had two Michelin stars.

The night was amazing, and I loved spending one on one time with mom. You'd think I would see her a lot since I lived with her but not really, she had a very busy schedule.

I went to sleep thinking of my friends and how I got so lucky to meet them in New York.

Hi guys, I'm sorry this chapter is definitely the shortest chapter I have ever wrote for any book. I have been busy with other books and writing and I couldn't think of ways to add to the chapter. It was a filler chapter before I get to the percabeth stuff.

If you have noticed, each new follow I get I make a new book. I have 4 followers and 3 published books so that's what I have been working on. If everything goes to plan then my divergent fans might have a new book to read.

I will try to update again soon. I'm about to get on fall break, so I will have more time.
