Instead of asking, if you are alright
I'll just tap your shoulder, and might hug you tight
Instead of telling you everything will be fine
I'll just be someone by your side
When things don't seem right
Instead of being proud of how good my day was
I can listen to you any time, presenting all resentments you have
Instead of telling you, to not give up
I'll remind you to rest, if you'll fight, I'll cheer you up!
Instead of pointing out mistakes you've done in your life
Start looking for the beauty you are hiding inside
Instead of pretending to be fine
You can cry it out, stop forcing a smile.
Instead of listening to this worthless advice
You can talk to other people, tell them all your problems
Instead of making you feel that I always understand you
I have to remind myself, that I need first to
Understand "you".
