There are clothes strewn everywhere. All over the queen size bed with the tropical flower print duvet, the hardwood floor, even on the wicker dresser. Swimsuits, skimpy tank tops, and Hawaiian shirts abound.

"How the hell do you have so many clothes, Alex?" I ask as I wade through the sea of clothes towards my suitcase.

"You have to come prepared," he says as he preens himself in the mirror. "You never know what hot boy you're gonna meet on vacation. Live a little."

"Well, I'm not into hot boys," I say as I drop down on the bed on my back. "Girls don't give a damn what you wear. That's why they're so good."

He laughs, and then his face drops. "Oh. You're not kidding." He turns from his reflection for the first time in 10 minutes and locks eyes with me. "That's mostly what girls care about. Take it from me. I'm the one they complain to."

"You?" I laugh as I prop myself up on my elbows, before pulling my tank top off. Alex's eyes sweep over my body almost as a reflex, but he turns back to the mirror and runs his fingers through his hair. Definitely no interest in my skinny frame.

"Yes, me. I like guys. Most girls like guys. The best thing you can do is brush your teeth, wear nice, clean clothing," he stresses, "and get a haircut. Which you need, Evil Goldilocks."

I grin and pop open my suitcase beside the bed, pulling a clean shirt out for once and putting it on. I unbutton the top few buttons to show Alex that I actually do know how to dress, contrary to what he thinks. "I like my hair the way it is," I say, before blowing a lock of dark hair from my face.

He stares at me in the mirror, judgmentally. "You're lucky you're cute, for a twink. At least you have that going for you."

"Twink?" I say, lifting my brows as I bend down to pull on my sneakers.

"Twink." I laugh and shake my head, giving myself a once-over in the mirror he hogged forever. Looking good, Kai. I might be mid-sized and skinny but I have that pretty boy thing going for me that girls tend to like. I should do okay tonight.

We're heading down to the hotel restaurant to meet Alex's parents and brother for dinner. After, we're going to try to sneak out and party and, fingers crossed, get laid. That's my only mission this trip. Find a pretty girl, plow, have a good time.

I'm kind of nervous about dinner, though. I haven't met any of Alex's family, despite Alex's parents being kind enough to pay for my trip, but I've heard good things about them. They're chill. Open-minded about their kid's sexuality. You can't go wrong with that.

Alex's brother? No clue. I didn't even know he had a brother, which shows just how much Alex talks about his real life. Normally, it's an earful of his latest escapades vs personal stuff.

"Okay!" Alex says as he grabs his man-purse and slings it over his little body. "Let's go, I'm parched."

I can't help but grin as he saunters out like Ariana Grande. It's unreal how gay the guy is. He's probably the gayest person I've ever met and that's big, considering I went to Catholic school.

I leave, closing and locking the door behind me, before heading down after him. "Let's get laid!"
