chapter nine

"sorry baby jeongin took a long time to pack"

"don't call me baby! when will you be here?"

"yeah we're basically here, promise"

"i swear if you don't get here quick.."

"we're here"

seungmin looked outside the gate, to see a black car pull up. hyunjin came out and came running to the porch to approach the younger. "i'm sorry minnie please don't kill me!" he immediately hugged him.

"i was close to locking you out, dumb bitch! i told you to be here at 7, 13 minutes had passed already!" seungmin yelled, hitting the pink haired on his head. hyunjin pulled away from the hug, as his two friends came following him with their bags.

"anyway this is jeongin, you know him-"

"we do know each other! nice to be here, seungmin hyung!" the fox boy chuckled, making seungmin melt. why wasn't i friends with him before.

"and this is chan hyung"

"good to see you, mate"

"you're australian?" seungmin arched his brow as they shook hands.

"yep"

"let's get inside" he led them to the living room while their other friends were having a conversation, which seemed normal.

"apparently there are more nipples than humans in the world, and- chris?" felix's eyes widened as he saw the other australian walk into the room.

"felix?"

their eyes lit up, immediately running up to each other and hugging. "mate it's been so long!" "i thought i was never gonna see you again!"

"what the heck you doing here though..?" felix asked then looked at seungmin. "hyunjin invited him."

"yeah he's uhm.. actually friends with minho and changbin hyung"

felix's jaw dropped, looking over at his boyfriend as he pulled away from the hug. "why'd you never tell me?! he's literally my brother!"

"and you don't even know each other's whereabouts" seungmin scoffed.

"dinner is ready, kids! oh, hyunjin you're here" mrs. kim smiled, as she came out from the kitchen. "nice to meet you again, mrs. kim" he immediately bowed.

"let's eat now, okay? everyone, to the dining room!"

dinner thankfully went by quickly, since it was painfully awkward for seungmin with everyone teasing him and hyunjin. seungmin's parents and sister told them that they will be going to california for about a week and that they had the house for themselves for now.

his parents were more than happy that their son, who they looked after for his whole life with their overly strict personalities, has friends of his own. they thought that they should've let him free a bit sooner, seeing how happy he is with his new friends.

they trust his friends a lot and they trust they will be able to take care of the house and themselves.

chan and minho, the oldest two, could cook and the rest could clean, so there wouldn't be any problems with leaving the house to them.

right?

the first night, since the kim family were still home, they didn't even dare to make noise. but the second they left to go to the airport, it was a chaotic mess.

grabbing snacks whenever they want, shouting and screaming at each other, felix and jisung kissing their boyfriends every 2-3 seconds.

jeongin and seungmin got along pretty well and seungmin was now overprotective of the boy. the two shared a lot of interests so right now they were playing games in the living room, minho and hyunjin on their phones sitting behind them on the couch, changbin and chan being music nerds, talking about producing and songwriting, and jisung and felix being themselves, destroying the kitchen.

they already had lunch and cleaned up, but jisung and felix insisted they wanted to make dessert. right now trying to make crème brulée, keyword trying.

seungmin has not talked a lot to hyunjin though. the two started flirting a lot after that one evening, but ever since they ate dinner seungmin was kind of quiet.

the sunshine twins noticed this, so did jeongin, the poor boy thought they were already together when hyunjin told him that seungmin kissed his head and gave him a blocked kiss.

"i win!" seungmin happily clapped his hands, the controller falling to the fluffy mat. "let's play another round" they both agreed, choosing characters.

"hyung, why aren't you talking to hyunjin hyung?" jeongin asked as the game was loading. "why- you know about us?"

"i thought you guys were dating, but hyunjin hyung told me not yet" the younger sighed. "so he told you about us" "yes, and the dinner last night, even your parents talked about you two"

hyunjin's eyes shifted from his phone to the two boys sitting in front of them as he heard his name. seungmin turned to the older and gave him a death glare. "what did i do now?"

"why did you tell him about us?"

"was i not supposed to?"

"why did you tell him about us?"

"because he's my friend? i should tell him"

"you have hundreds, jinnie, you told all of your friends then"

"there's a difference between real and fake friends! i'm popular!"

"so damn cocky" seungmin rolled his eyes and turned back to the game.

"all your fault, hwang hyunjin!"

"that's just a game!"

then, they heard a sound, similar to an explosion. they all faced towards the kitchen.

"what the hell was that.."

"oh my fuck- felix! jisung!"
