"Is she going to survive?!!" I said with tears running down my pale face. "Please tell me doctor!" but there was no response. I sat and waited for over an hour, hoping to get some good news, then i saw my mom burst through the emergency room.
"Lisa, Lisa what's wrong!!" "Mom, it's Rose she collapsed in class today!" I said with a trembling voice. "I....I think this is it Lisa. You think this is what?! The doctor told me that she had five months to live because she had a hole in her heart. What!!....a hole in her heart, how could you keep such a secret from me, I can't trust you anymore!
" I shouted "I hate you, I hate you!!" Then suddenly a doctor came towards us with a disappointing face and said "We tried our best, but there was nothing else we could do to save her. I'm sorry to say this, but your daughter has passed away."
my world turned upside down. I stood there with my mouth wide open and my mother screaming by my side. "This is not real, this is not real,"I said to myself, then finally i let all of my emotions flow. Later that night, I could here my mother crying and crying, she couldn't eat, she couldn't sleep until the day of Roses funeral. On that day, we both wore raven black dresses.
We headed down to the Presbyterian Church, where the ceremony was held. I could see my mother in distress and she still couldn't believe that Rose was gone. When they carried the casket to the cemetery and began to lower it into the hole, my mom began to shout,"No, no Rose....she is not gone she's still alive. Bring the casket back up."
Finally, they buried her and my mother and i cried all the way home. Once again, my sobbed and sobbed until she finally fell asleep. While laying in bed, all I could think about is, that there was nothing else to live for anymore.
