"Dinosaurs talking"

Y/N POV

So it's been a day since the white beast was defeated and I'm am beginning to realize that the T-Rex or Rexy as she calls herself is pretty weird. The first thing is she's been leaving me relatively alone which is pretty surprising but it is probably because of my large size, the second thing however is that she has been bringing trees to her den as she calls it it is like she is making a nest, that alone is very weird because she is the only Rex on the island which means that making a nest is very weird for her to do. I've just been ignoring the weird stuff she's been doing for the day instead I've just been watching her and I've just got to say that I can now see why the Tyrannosaurus is also called the tyrant lizard king. She just looks royal and powerful with her extremely muscular legs, neck and tail I could definitely believe that she could kill me if she absolutely wanted to however I think we both know that it is too much of a risk for her to try, so we've just been watching each other and respecting each other's space. Anyway Rexy went out hunting not too long ago and I've already eaten for today so I've just been laying around for most of the day, speaking of I was sleeping when I heard some familiar voices talking so I got up to who was talking when I found that it was just the kids odd they shouldn't still be on the island and wasn't there 6 kids and a little ankylosaurus why is there only 5 here. Curiosity got the best of me so walked over towards them when I saw that some were looking at the broken fence of the moat before backing up. Deciding to make my presence known I let out a little grunt which caused them to jump and turn to look at me before sighing in relief at seeing me the dark haired girl in jeans suddenly just hugged my ankle which caused me to look at her when the girl who still limping said "be careful Sammy." "Oh relax Yaz she won't hurt us." Sammy replied. "Ain't that right girl?" Sammy asked letting me go which caused me to lay down and nuzzle into her, which made her giggle and start petting my head before the other kids joined in petting my head, side and neck. After a little while they stopped and started to look her someway to call the mainland so they could leave this stopped when the boy??? called Kenji found some food for them to eat however it was apparently frozen so they just left it in the sun to thaw however a small group of compys tried to get the food which immediately stopped when I accidentally stepped on one of them making it into a pancake which scared the rest causing them to scatter this action got me some more head pats.

The children were sleeping inside of a building while I was outside watching the street before suddenly Yaz and the boy called Darius left the building talking about learning new dinosaur facts, so being the lazy Para I am I stayed where I was until they returned then I decided that I should probably block the entrance so nothing can hurt them and so that's what I did laying down in front of the entrance

So I woke up next morning with the kids trying to wake me up so they could get out when I did move they started talking before walking around looking for the beacon which caused them to figure out that the trees were fake but they didn't find the beacon however they did find some drag marks from one of the hollow trees which led us to Rexy's den Rexy was inside moving the trees into a nest shape while the children were talking I decided to go talk to Rexy "hello Rexy" I say before Rexy responded with "hello Y/N" I then asked what she was doing and she said that she was building a nest so I decided to help her with it digging up some of the ground making into a nest big enough for Rexy then surrounding it with some of the trees that she had gathered however I did leave out the hollow tree that the kids needed a little while later the nest was done and Rexy told me that she needed to go hunting and walking off a little after she left the two boys came into the den and activated the beacon before leaving after I left the den I saw Rexy approaching me so I decided to tell her that I would be leaving the mainstreet "Why are you leaving?" She asked actually sounding a little sad "because there just isn't enough food for me to live here forever." I told her she still looked a bit sad but she nodded in understanding telling me to be careful "I weigh 20 Tons and can crush most predators with one foot." I joked which caused her to chuckle a little bit before she went into her den and I left mainstreet right after she went into her den.

A few hours later with nighttime approaching I was with the children Sammy, Brooklyn and Darius was a little bit away with Darius in a nearby tree trying to see where there were no dinos meanwhile I was laying down with Yaz laying on my side with Kenji sitting across from us and just not shutting up causing Yaz and I to glare at him in anger and annoyance causing him to shut up, I've decided that I like Yaz, we were supposed to be keeping a look out for any dangerous dinos however the most dangerous creature we saw was this one stupid microraptor that keeps coming back and nipping at me and Yaz which I stopped with a cheeky little nip to it's tail causing it to screech and run however saying that it's come back again and I get ready to nip it but instead of me and Yaz it decided to go nip at Kenji's legs which caused him to scream and start running in circles finding this funny I tear off the branch of a nearby blueberry bush and lay it next to me Yaz saw this and took a handful and put them in my mouth before taking some for herself and we watched the show of Kenji being chased by a little microraptor for like an hour which by the way was the funniest and most entertaining dinner and a show I have ever seen however the fun came to an end when Kenji grabs a rock and threw it at the little microraptor causing it to flee in terror before running right into Yaz's arms and staring at Kenji in fear which of course causes me and Yaz to glare at him in anger this went on until the others came back which of course Sammy immediately started to cuddle and play with the microraptor while everyone else decided to talk about where to sleep before I grabbed Brooklyn by her over shirt and put her next to Yaz while doing the same thing with Darius and Sammy before looking expectingly at Kenji which caused him to join the little nest after he did I curled up around them they slept while I watched for predators while also looking at how cute the children are with Yaz sleeping with her head on Sammy's shoulder and the microraptor laying on their laps they were like a family Kenji was sleeping with his head on Brooklyn's lap and Darius was sleeping with his head on my tail.

Alright well that's the end of this chapter tell me what y'all think also no hate comments on the ships Yaz and Sammy are cute together also I kinda have this running gag in my head where Y/N doesn't really know whether Kenji is a guy or not because of how high pitched his scream is which I think is just kinda funny also yes the microraptor is going to become a member of the camp fam in this story because yes, anyway I will base it off of the microraptors from Ark Survival Evolved and Acended you know where they are one of the most annoying creatures in the game however the twist here is that the microraptor will only annoy Kenji and will be nice and polite to everyone else anyway the next chapter will become a bio for the microraptor so just be prepared.
