⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️
mentions of r@pe, sexual-assault, mentions physical abuse and violence
i wrote this in a heat of the moment during a breakdown and i thought i would shed some real light on this topic, i have read many stories where sexual assault has been written in a way that doesn't show the true impact of it's horrific being. i am a survivor and i understand just how triggering this can be for people so please don't read this if you feel like it'll mess with your mental health but also know that you aren't alone.
i love ya'll

"it's five.pm somewhere in the world."

keep lying, survive.

the cold sensation of a simple drop slowly running onto your skin off the bottle, so delicate yet so powerful. you were hyper-fixating, on the past, on the present, on the future. you always did when chan came home from work late. leaning your head back you felt the cold beer hit your tongue. you hated the taste of beer, but since chan ran out of brandy this is the best you'd get.

keys. why couldn't you suddenly find your keys, you always kept them on you. why did you leave them, if you hadn't been so preoccupied with messaging your group-chat maybe you would have noticed the goosebumps appear on your shoulders. jingle, the tune of the front door opening snapped you back into reality. you slid your hand down into your pant's pocket and pulled out your keys.

keep lying, survive.

"얘야, you made dinner? i told you not to wait up for me." you loved listening to his voice, it was husky and you could hear just how exhausted he was but you loved it nonetheless. routinely he walked up to the couch, trying not to stare at the bottle of liquor in your hand, he let his lips lightly linger on your forehead.

"i ate already, that's your favourite. go eat, i'll run a bath for you." the corner of your lips felt tight, they were hellbent on not moving but you tried your best to push through the pain. you smiled. he smiled. you waited for him to turn around and head back to the kitchen to eat his food. as long as he was content, you would try to be too.

feeling the harsh floor against your bare feet, treading your way to the bathroom. the last thing you thought you'd be doing was drinking till chan got home, especially on a thursday night. you didn't like how the alcohol made you feel, you were the type to either walk sluggishly or confess yourself. maybe you did drink with a reason...

keep lying, survive.

your not too sure how long you've been sitting on the corner of the bathtub for while the water kept running. the sound was so calming, so beautiful, it made you long not to hear anymore. truth be told, you never bathed in the tub. you had always used the shower, the small feeling of being trapped and stuck in their was mind numbing. chan didn't question it, not that you'd tell him anyway.

a hand. large. gripping at you. grabbing at you. pushing you...until you can't breathe.

"[name]? [name]? you alright? you seem drowsy, i loved the food you made me my love." he moved to kiss you, you accepted the kiss sweetly noticing the smile against his lips. he kept coming back for more, you couldn't stop him, he just felt too perfect. that was until you felt his hands move around your waist.

"chan, hurry up the water's getting cold." you giggled giving him one last kiss before exiting the bathroom. chan stood there contemplating what you just did. he hadn't seen you in hours, why were you so eager to move out of the bathroom.

"hey [name], take a bath with me." you halted in your tracks. now? here? you did trust chan but you hadn't done anything like this with him yet. it's not like he hasn't teased you to the point of having a day in bed for a full recovery, or hasn't shoved you against the desk in his studio for a quickie. this just felt very intimate.
