The sharp wail of the alarm pierces through the air, an urgent and insistent sound that reverberates through the labyrinthine streets. It starts as a single piercing note and quickly escalates into a relentless barrage, echoing from house to house like a harbinger of chaos.

As Claire darts through the narrow alleyways, the blaring alarm seems to chase her every step. The sound bounced off the walls, creating an ominous atmosphere. Her thoughts race as she chases Buggy through the twisting alleyways of the town. "Damn you, clown! He ruined everything!" she mutters under her breath, frustration evident in her voice.

As she sprints through the narrow passages, the distant sounds of approaching marines can be heard, causing Claire to turn her head over her shoulder, her eyes scanning the alleyways, checking if there are any signs of the marines yet.

The relief washes over her as she fails to see any immediate signs of the marines in pursuit. "Thank fucking god." A sign of relief escapes her lips, and she turns her attention back to Buggy. However, as she shifts her focus forward, her eyes widen in dismay. Buggy has disappeared.

"Damn it!" Claire curses under her breath.

The narrow alleyway stretches ahead, empty and devoid of any sign of the blue-haired pirate. Claire's pace quickens as she picks up speed, determined to close the gap that unexpectedly opened between them.

As Claire turns yet another corner, wariness weighing on her, a flicker of doubt crosses her mind. The town seems to close in around her, and for a moment, she contemplates the futility of the chase. The sound of distant marine footsteps adds to her unease, urging her to reconsider.

"I can't keep this up. I won't catch him in time," she thinks, a sense of frustration gnawing at her determination. "I did all the work for nothing..."

Just as she entertained the idea of giving up, a vivid shock of bright blue catches her eye. Buggy's unmistakable hair disappears into yet another alleyway. Claire's exhaustion was momentarily forgotten; a surge of renewed hope propelled her forward.

"Finally!" she exclaims, her sprints lifting as she races into the alley, her determination rekindled. The anticipation hangs in the air as she navigates the twists and turns, her eyes fixed on the fleeting glimpse of Buggy ahead.

"Hey!" Claire's shout reverberates, cutting through the night. "Stop this nonsense and give me my map back!"

Buggy, glancing over his shoulder, sees Claire closing in. A mischievous grin plays on his lips as he quickens his pace, taunting her with a theatrical flourish of the stolen map. "You'll have to catch me first! This map is mine now!"

As the chase intensifies, the sun slowly dipping below the horizon, casting long shadows over the scene, Claire leaps over crates, darting through market stalls, her focus unwavering. Buggy zigzags through the labyrinthine streets, throwing obstacles in her path.

He laughs at her misery, hearing her cuss under her breath as she tries not to stumble or run into yet another market stall, Buggy pushes over in front of her. "You can't catch me, sweet cheeks. Give it up!" Buggy calls back, a devilish laugh escaping his lips.

Claire, fueled by determination, only spits out a vehement response. "Like hell, I will!"

Amidst the chaos, Claire manages to finally close the gap. With a burst of speed, she lunges at Buggy, her fingers grazing the edges of the stolen map. Buggy, however, quickly detaches his hand, pulling the map out of her reach.

"Give it a rest, Claire!" Buggy sneers, narrowly avoiding a collision with a market cart, a sign that the chase is getting to him, even though he tries not to let it show.
