Spencer was sitting on his bunk bed (the top one), quietly strumming one of Billy's songs on his guitar (a gift from Rom for his 15th birthday), longing for his old friends company.
"Hey Spen, you know what would make billy proud?" Stevey called to him from the top bunk of the bed across from Spencer and OX's as he strummed the same cobra classic on his bass guitar.
"No." Spencer responded before steve could hound him with the popular idea once again. It had once been shot around the small group that they should form a band: they had a bassist (Steve), a drummer (OX), a keyboardist (OX's twin brother with purple hair, Benni) and two kick ass guitarists (Rom and Spence).
"Oh, come on! We can do it!"
"NO."
"Meh, okay, I was just thinking, when this lady drops us in a year, and we all have to go home.... just kinda wanted a reason to keep in touch with my buddies.... different schools and all....."
Spencer closed his eyes and took a deep breath, ".........one song. If we don't make fools of ourselves.... Maybe more....."
Steven shot up. "seriously?!" When Spencer smiled lightly and nodded his head, Steven scrambled for his phone before Spencer could say another word. "Yeah, he said yes! Great.... okay..... ah shit....."
"What's wrong?" Spencer said carelessly.
"We don't actually have a singer. so, now we're gonna ask everyone in the dorm to sing for us." Spencer rolled his eyes at the idiotic idea, but went along with it.
and that is how they lost 3 hours.
"What Now?" Spencer asked sarcastically and Rom shot him a glare.
"It's not funny Mr. I'm-BJC's-nephew-and..... whoa whoa whoa wait." and suddenly, Rom was grinning at him, "we tried everyone in the group.... except Spen..."
rolling his eyes, spencer sat up and sang 'Butterflies' as Rom instructed, giving them an 'I told you so' look when the cringe fest was over. "WAIT." she commanded before he left, "don't try singing like BJC: you guys are totally different, that's obvious. music is unique to everyone: just sing it, without thinking about how anyone else does it." every guy in the room, including Spencer was giving her a look of disbelief. still, when Spencer tried to argue, Rom almost killed him with a glare, so he did as he was told.
"wow..." they all whispered in awe when he was done.
