"Okay, and sent," Yoongi said almost to himself as he placed his phone in the pocket of his sweatpants before walking toward me. "I'm sorry about that."

"That's all right. Everything okay?" I asked him as I sat on the edge of my bed, my legs bouncing gently as I tapped my socked feet on the carpet.

I was so nervous and with excellent reason. Min Yoongi was in my hotel room in the middle of the night, we were both in our pajamas, and we were alone. Nervous was an understatement based on what I was feeling.

"Yes, everything is fine," he replied with a polite smile as he crossed the room and stopped in front of me. "I texted our member group chat and let them know I decided to go to sleep. They think I'm in my room."

"Oh," I said before chewing on my bottom lip. "But what if they decide to check? Won't you be in some kind of trouble or something?"

Yoongi smiled down at me and said, "No, I won't. Our company isn't like that. We don't get punished if we want to do things or venture out as long as we have security with us to keep us safe. I just had to let them know I was fine so they'd stop looking and wake up the whole hotel. Jimin can sometimes get loud when he drinks." He laughed softly before he continued, "Besides, I'm a grown man in my thirties now. I can go places if I want to, spend time with people I choose to."

"I only meant..." I trailed off before huffing out a nervous laugh and saying, "Actually, I don't know exactly what I meant."

Yoongi's smile was soft as he said, "Perhaps you were thinking of all those times when the members and I have been swarmed at airports or filmed when we're on our personal schedules? Or possibly that our company is controlling like some can be with their idols?"

I blushed and nodded as I said, "Yes, I guess I was. I know your company treats you well, it's pretty common knowledge. I guess I just assumed that you couldn't do things freely I guess."

"That's okay, no need to apologize. Some companies can definitely be rather controlling of their idols lives, but not ours. We've been fortunate on that front," he said. I smiled up at him and just as I was about to say something, I heard his phone buzzing in his pocket. He took it out and as soon as he looked at the screen, he chuckled softly and began to type something into his phone.

"Everything still okay?" I asked him.

Yoongi nodded as he kept typing and said, "Yes, it's just Jungkook." He paused to smile at me and went back to texting before putting his phone back into his pocket. "I might've told him a bit more about where I am."

"Oh?" I asked. "Like...um, like what exactly?"

Yoongi was quiet for a moment before asking, "Can I sit?"

"Yes of course," I nodded, and he immediately sat next to me at the edge of the bed. He turned to look at me and explained, "At the concert during soundcheck, when you and I first saw each other," he paused and I nodded in understanding, "Jungkook knew right away what had happened. Why I forgot my part in the song."

"How did he know?" I questioned. "Because right now I'm still stunned to know that fate is even a real thing, let alone the fact that it happened to me."

"Well, he knew because it happened to him not that long ago. You know, that unexplainable pull you feel toward someone, that instant connection."
