Annie's pov:
"It's the first week of the second trimester and I still don't have a lover. Everyone around me is constantly hooking up successfully! So why can't I?". As I head down the steps to lunch I miss the last step. IM A CLUMSY PERSON I CANT HELP IT! Right before I fall to the ground I feel a pair of strong arms catch my hips. I look up to see a guy that used to be in my friend group but left after a hard break up staring back at me. "Cade I say with a Shakey voice." You didn't have to help me I would have been fine! "You expect me to just let you fall on that beautiful face of yours" he says in a teasing manner. I was just catching a clumsy child who can't walk on her own two feet he protests.
Cades pov: It's the second trimester of the school year and it's been a month since I last talked to my friend group. I kinda left after my girlfriend cheated on me. We have a rough time but I thought it was going pretty good. AHHH I hear from behind me. I look around just in time to see Annie falling down from the stairs. She was always kinda quiet but kind. That's what I like about her but I don't know how to tell her about my feelings when she was part of the friend group that I just left. Unintentionally I catch her by griping on to her hips. Shes the kind of girl who was always teased for being " bigger" but in my opinion she's just curvy almost like a dirt road. But as I catch her I just picture what it would be like to get to know every curve of her. I want to know that dirt road like the back of my hand.
