It had been 3 sun cycles since Bart and Shuu had left the ape king's castle, and it had been hell. Knowing that their female was waiting for them but would learn that they wouldn't be coming. The fact that she could have a short heat and they wouldn't make it back in time. Perhaps she would decide that they weren't reliable enough and would leave them. These scenarios replayed in their minds, over and over again, they could only hope she would wait for them.
They had successfully gotten the ape king's men off their tails, and they were fine to get to Eudora. They could only hope she was waiting for them.

Eudora was bored, the cramps had stopped meaning soon the blood would too. 'Bart and Shuu, hurry' she thought worriedly. Soon would be the time where they make the cubs and if she got pregnant she would be viewed as very fertile and would have a better chance of getting powerful mates.
She heard a knock on her door and leapt up to see who it was.
"Hello, Papa," she said a quickly hugged her father before looking around outside, to check if Bart and Shuu were there.
"Don't bother, they aren't here yet." He said, growling lowly at the thought of them leaving his cub alone when she was in heat. Her first heat was supposed to be celebrated with her mates, yet here she was confined in a small hut, lonely and needy.
Eudora let her head fall to the ground in sadness, tears starting to form in her eyes. "What if they don't get here, or they aren't here on purpose, what, if Rosa got to them, like she said she would." She questioned.
When Eudora had gone to visit Mimi in the city, they had met Rosa, who was trailed by the white tiger again. She had found out that the wolf princes were her pet beasts and threw a tantrum, promising that they would leave her. Since that day Eudora had been paranoid that she would force them.
"No, no, my darling they are on their way, they should be here by the time the sun falls." Her father promised.
Eudora gasped in excitement, "Really, so I will be able to get pregnant then," she signed in contentment.

By the time it was sun fall, Bart and Shuu had arrived on the outskirts of the village.
They barged into the chiefs house.
"What are you doing here," the chief asked.
"For Eudora, please chief, we have been running for days to be there for her," Bart begged.
The chief growled in anger, though she was starting to get used to them, he would never be vale to forgive them for causing his cub to wait. If there was anything he wanted the most, it was people mistreating his cub. As she was a female, she should have left them and found another mate while they were gone. But she was kind and decided to wait, that was a reason he both hated and loved his daughter.
"Fine," he growled and pointed towards his cubs hut.
The two wolf brothers took off instantly. They couldn't wait another second for their female.

Eudora couldnt waits, she paced impatiently in her hut, she was starting to get angry, which was rare for her. She was normally a very happy and calm female, but she hated waiting, especially for something like this, something that impacted her future life and worth.
They were late, the sun had already begun the fall, the orange and pink filling the sky, like a fresh rock painting when water splashes on it. She tapped her foot impatiently and glared at the door. If they arrived she would not immediately let them in, let them suffer for a bit. She would still let them in, she loved them and couldn't bare to live without them, but still. They needed to be punished, not much, just a little.
Suddenly Eudora heard a howl a short distance away. It was them, they had arrived.
She laid down on her dried grass and pouted, already acting like she was mad.
There was a knocking at the door, and the still bleeding Eudora went to open it.
There they were, looking tired with baggy eyes and scruffy hair, they probably hadn't washed or eaten recently either.
Eudora let her angry face falter for a second before she put it back on.
"Eudora," Bart said.
"You smell amazing," Shuu blurted, he had probably less control than Bart, in the mating way of course.
Eudora let out a 'hmph' sort of noise and pouted again.
The two wolfs couldn't hide their sadness.
Shuu looked down in shame.
"I am not angry," she started, "I was scared that something happened if you hadn't arrived in time my chances of having a good life. And you weren't there," she scolded. "You are still my mates, but you have to earn back the chance to regularly sleep in my room."
They both looked happy but ashamed. They had deserved that at was willing to gain her favour again.
"Now get in here, I need to get pregnant and we might as well start. Just to be safe," she demanded, a playful smile on her face. The wolf brothers quickly scrambled inside and followed Eudora into her room.

Good news though - Final exams are DONE. Now summer may truly begin.
Little filler, but be ready for some cute moments next chapter. I just added in some grumpy Eudora because even if she wasn't too spoiled she has been taught that she should be put first, no matter what. So that is why she was a bit angry. I also wanted to do some Eudora feels because she was so worried about her future if she couldnt get pregnant.
