maddies pov: finally it's saturday and this stupid week is over. i can already tell this year isn't going to be the best, but as long as i have my brothers ill hopefully be ok. it's around 3:00 pm and we all have just be chilling around the house today. im just wearing gray sweatpants and my black fresh love hoodie, my favorite. i was just sitting on the couch scrolling on tiktok when i felt someone plop next to me. "oh hey chris!" i say smiling, resting my head on his shoulder "hey mads, whatcha watching?" "oh just tiktok, but im bored can we do something before it gets to late?" "yeah of course! what do you want to do?" "i don't care, how about we go ask matt and nick?" "yeah come on, i think there in matts room" chris says, and we head upstairs into matts room. "hey, mads wondering if we wanna do something with her?" chris says "yeah sure" matt says, not looking away from video games. i just roll my eyes "yess i would love to! what are you thinking?" nick says "hmm maybe the arcade?" "yeah that sounds good to me, how about yall?" chris says, while both of them nod. "ok yay! come on come on let's go!" i say, dragging matt out of his gaming chair. "ok ok im coming!" matt says, and i just laugh
we all head downstairs and grab everything we need and head into the van. i sit on the back with nick like usual and matt and chris sit upfront. chris starts playing lil skies, before i ask, "hey when is mom and dad coming home again?" "umm i think in like 3 days?" nick says "oh it feels like they've been gone forever" "yeah well they did go on a 2 week trip" chris says "true, well how far are we from the arcade?" "about 10 minutes" matt says "oh ok" i say sitting back and scrolling through my phone. i just listen to chris singing along to lil skies the rest of the ride. "finally we're here!" i said, jumping out of the car and smiling. all my brothers just smile at me. they all get out of the car and head inside. i run straight for the basketball game. "im beating you" matt says "no way, im crazy at this game" "we'll see" he says swiping his card. the machine counts down from three and then shoots basketballs down. i hurry and grab the closest one and make it! i keep doing that and almost make it every time. the scores were matt: 76 me: 81 "BOOM!" i say, flipping him off "whatever i let you win" he says, rolling his eyes "oh really?" "yep" "then how about a rematch?" "alright sure, and im going to win this time" "let's see" i say, swiping my card. we play and this time the scores are- matt: 86 me: 87 "WHAT THERES NO WAY?" matt says "HAHA, LOOK WHOS BETTER" "whatever kid" he says, ruffling my hair "who won?" nick asks, walking up to us "me!" i say, proudly "good job kid!" chris says, patting my back "mads wanna play our fav game?" nick asks "YES!" i say, grabbing his wrist and pulling him to the motorcycle game, Hang-On! we both hopped on and picked our characters "let's see if the normal champion wins" i say "i don't know I've improved" "mkay let's see" i say, smiling. the machine counts down from 3..2..1.. and we're off. we race for like 2 minutes and i come out in 2nd. "what the fuck?" i say "guess i have improved" he says, jumping up and down "whateverr, im just rusty" i say "ok mads whatever you say" we all play a couple more games before its around 7:30 and we decide to leave. we all head into the car "thanks guys it was fun today!" i say, smiling at them "of course mads!" nick says "yeah not gonna lie i miss hanging out with you" chris says "yeah facts" Matt says. i just smile wide at them.
