After weeks of meetings and planning, it was time to check out the progress of their first hospital. They both agreed to come and see the progression.

Narda arrived at the construction site ahead of Regina, her mind preoccupied with thoughts about breaking through Regina's tough exterior. She pondered the mysterious past that might have shaped Regina into the guarded woman she appeared to be.

As Regina approached, the cool atmosphere between them lingered. Their greetings were polite but distant, and they proceeded to inspect the construction site together.

Regina swiftly noted the progress, observing the walls already erected. She couldn't help but acknowledge the speed at which Darna Corporation worked.

"Your team's work is quite impressive, Custodio," Regina admitted, a rare sign of praise coloring her words.

Narda appreciated the recognition, responding, "Thank you. Speed and precision are our trademarks."

Walking through the site, Regina observed the workers, impressed by their meticulousness. She couldn't recall witnessing such efficiency in other projects managed by Vanguardia Foundation.

Curious about Narda's father, Regina inquired, "I've never met your father. What's he like?"

Narda's voice carried admiration as she spoke about her father's traits. "He's incredibly hardworking and passionate about construction. But what I respect most is his compassion toward everyone he meets. He's professional yet compassionate," she shared with genuine warmth.

Regina's eyes momentarily clouded with a hint of longing. "I wish I had a father like that."

With a teasing tone, Narda ventured, "Technically, you could."

Choosing not to respond to Narda's playful remark, Regina continues to walk.

Narda chased Regina and asks "I'm kidding! What's you father like anyways?"

"I don't talk about my personal life, Custodio." Regina tells Narda without laying an eye on her

Narda senses the injustice, "Hey you are so unfair! How come you can ask me about my personal life and I can't?"

Unwilling to give up, Narda persisted, "After working together for almost a month, can't I know a little about you?"

Regina paused, "Ok fine, Custodio, you really wanna know about my father?! He is the worst person I've ever known, he doesnt treat me like a daughter but just another person working for him. Now you can laugh at my miserable life, happy, custodio?" her composure wavering momentarily as she spoke about her father's distant demeanor, revealing a glimpse of vulnerability that surprised Narda.

Caught off guard, Narda struggled to find the right words as Regina walked away, leaving her with a sense of guilt for prying into Regina's personal life.

As they concluded the inspection, Regina bid farewell curtly. Narda, recollecting the files she needed from Regina, inquired about them, a trace of concern lacing her tone.

Regina admitted, "Shoot! I left them on my desk."

Quick on her feet, Narda offered a solution, "No worries, I'll swing by your office later and ask your secretary to retrieve them."

Regina's annoyed stare caught Narda by surprise.

"At home, Custodio, I left them at home"
