Brothers (Ep 1)

The French Court was a spectacle to behold with its art and residents.

However, the Dauphin was too busy fixing his outfit as he ran downstairs to behold it, besides, star had grown up here so things stopped amazing him after a while.

As he hit the bottom of the stairwell, he caught sight of their illegitimate older half brother by star's father and the king's official mistress, "Scott," he greeted warmly.

Scott glanced his younger brother up and down, "Hello Acho, I've been looking absolutely everywhere to you. You, Brother, are hard to find when you don't want to be found."

Acho shrugged, fixing up their hair with a half decent attempt to look proper, "I was out riding, if you must know."

"Oh really? Who?" Scott teased, helping Acho regain the appearance of a perfect Dauphin as his younger brother chuckled.

"Tell me, Scott, what's the mood looking like around here today?" Acho finished fixing his hair with a satisfied grin.

"Which mood? Our father's or the overall mood? Not that it makes a difference to my answer, it is all tense, all the planning for your sister's big day," Scott made sure to refer to the Princess as being Acho's sister as Elisabeth did not accept Scott as her brother.

Acho sighed slowly, "Can I expect to see your mother in there when I enter?" Star did not hold a grudge against Scott but he wasn't a fan of his brother's mother.

"Royals and attendants only and my mother is neither. Your mother, however, is there and in peak condition, may God have mercy on you," Scott turned and rushed off after slapping Acho gently on the arm.

"You lucky bastard," Acho chuckled, smiling as star knew his brother had heard based on his cheeky wave.

They waited a few moments before slowly walking towards the room he was required in.
