Chapter Twenty-Three

Tamara smiles as she climbs out the car with her brothers and Micah, Rebekah, Sage and Caroline waiting by the doors of the castle hall waiting for them "You ready?" Damon asks. "Yeah, either of you let me fall and I'm killing you." Tamara responds, making her two brothers chuckle. "We won't let you fall, even though it'd be funny." Stefan assures her, kissing her head. "Remember we follow each other after six steps." Rebekah tells everyone. "But first Micah has to go." Caroline smiles, making sure the rings are in the box round Micah's neck. Tamara smiles and crouches down "You ready to go, Micah?" she asks him. Micah lets out a small bark, his tail wagging back and forth excitedly "I'll take that as a yes." Tamara smiles, kissing him on the head. "Come on Micah." Caroline smiles, taking him through the doors. Damon and Stefan put out their arms, Tamara taking them with a smile "We love you, Tam." Stefan tells her. "And no matter what you'll always be our baby sister." Damon adds. "I love you both too." Tamara responds. "That's six." Stefan says, the three of them beginning to walk down the aisle after Rebekah. Seeing Klaus at the end of the aisle, Tamara feels tears in her eyes. The three siblings reach the end of the aisle, Stefan and Damon kissing Tamara's cheeks before passing her over to Klaus "You look stunning, Love." Klaus tells her, tears in his eyes. Tamara smiles with a slight blush "You look handsome." she responds.

(Skipping the service as I'm shit at writing vows)

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present the bride and groom. You may kiss the bride." the priest tells Klaus. Smiling the two of them immediately connect their lips, Klaus gently cupping Tamara's face as everyone claps "I love you." he tells her as they pull away. "I love you too." Tamara responds. The two of them laugh as Micah pulls out of Elijah's grasp and runs over to them, Tamara picking him up as they walk down the aisle with their fingers intertwined. They come to a stop at the entrance as the photographer starts taking pictures of them, everyone throwing confetti. Tamara giggles when Klaus gets a face full of confetti, Kol looking at them with a mischievous glint in his eyes "That was definitely Kol." Klaus tells Tamara. "Of course it was." Tamara smiles, kissing him. Klaus smiles and wraps his arms round her "How does it feel to be Mrs Mikaelson?" he asks. "Perfect." Tamara responds, putting her arms round his neck. The two of them reconnect their lips, laughing as more confetti gets thrown at them.

Tamara smiles as she sits between Klaus and Damon "You know that Stefan and I wrote this speech together, right?" Damon smirks. "I swear if there is anything in there that is embarrassing, you two won't make it to the end of the night." Tamara threatens. "Us, embarrass our baby sister? Never." Stefan tells her from next to Damon. Tamara playfully narrows her eyes at them, smiling when Micah runs over "Hey baby." she greets, sitting him on her lap. Klaus smiles at her as he watches her fuss the dog "Nik, you have to fuss him too." she tells him. "Of course, Love." Klaus agrees, reaching over and stroking Micah's head. Micah makes a content noise, Tamara smiling as she leans into Klaus' side "I love you." she tells him. "And I you, Love." Klaus smiles, kissing her head. Elijah smiles as he stands, being given a microphone "Here we go." Klaus chuckles, Tamara giggling.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming out tonight to celebrate the wedding of my brother, Niklaus, and my lovely new sister, Tamara. When my family and I first met Tamara, I knew that she was the lady Niklaus would end up marrying. Even if it didn't realise it yet, it was obvious to everyone around just how love stuck he was with her. He changed for the better without realizing it. And we all could see it. He couldn't stop talking about her, we'd be doing something and Tamara's name would be brought up constantly. So, when he finally proposed to her, my only thought was, 'Well, it's about time!' There's something special about these two. They go together without forcing it. They love each other without fighting it. And they care about each other without thinking about it. She was the one from the very beginning Niklaus, and we're all so happy to be able to take part in your big day. Let's toast to the best decision he's ever made. I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness and success, always and forever." Elijah smiles, everyone raising their glasses. Klaus smiles and stands up, hugging Elijah "Thank you, brother." he tells him quietly, Tamara smiling at them. Standing, Tamara hugs Elijah herself "That was lovely, Elijah." she smiles. "Thank you Tamara." Elijah smiles, kissing her hand.

Rebekah takes the microphone, Tamara giggling slightly "Bloody Hell." Klaus comments, Rebekah glaring at him slightly. "Ladies and Gentleman, I'm Rebekah the Maid of Honour and the Groom's younger sister. I never had a sister, but as soon as I met Tamara she been a sister to me. We have similar tastes, we like similar clothes. I was the first one of my siblings to meet Ara, we met while shopping for new dresses and we immediately clicked. I invited her over and she met my brothers. When she and Nik saw each other, you could immediately tell it was love at first sight. Actually, you could see that it was love at first, second, and third sight. Nik gives her all she needs – a strong arm, a sympathetic ear, and his credit card. Ara, as I said I have always seen you as a sister. Marrying my brother just made it official. I love you, sister." Rebekah smiles. Tamara stands up and immediately hugs Rebekah "I love you too." she tells her. Rebekah wraps her arms round her "Always and forever." she smiles.

Next Damon and Stefan stand up with their own microphones "Oh God." Tamara mutters. "Thank you all for coming, I am Damon, Tamara's eldest brother. As an older brother, I always looked after Tammy, protected her. I confess to you all, I did not even notice how she grew up and became such a beautiful young woman. And here we are today at her wedding. When we were kids, Tammy would follow me around, trying to copy everything I did. At first I didn't understand why but then our Mother explained that it was because she looked up to me. That's when I sort of understood but Tammy, I've always looked up to you. Even though you are my baby sister... and nearly a foot shorter than me." Damon smiles. "And that is where I am going to cut in, try and save some of the embarrassment for me to give, Damon. I'm Stefan, Tamara's older twin brother. Tam and I have always been close, as kids we shared everything with each other. This meant that we had no secrets, and we still don't. Which is why I know that Klaus is the right man for her, he has all the qualities that Tam has ever wanted in a partner. He loves her unconditionally, he cares about her, he is everything at Damon and I want for her. Klaus, you better look after her, otherwise you'll have the two of us after you." Stefan cuts in. "In all seriousness though, we couldn't be happier for Tammy, she's our everything and seeing her this happy... it means everything to us. Cheers." Damon finishes, raising his glass with Stefan.

Tamara stands up and hugs her brothers "I love you both." she tells them. "We love you too Tammy." Damon tells her. "We'll always love you." Stefan adds as the three of them hold each other. Breaking away, the three of them sits back in their seats. Klaus kisses Tamara's temple before standing up "Ladies and Gentlemen, as we sit here tonight, I can't help but reflect on how lucky I am to have found my soulmate in my lovely wife, Tamara. Her kindness, intelligence, and beauty continue to amaze me every day. As we prepare to start this new chapter of our lives together, I am filled with gratitude and joy. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. I'd would first like to thank my amazing little sister, Rebekah, for planning this special day for Tamara and I. As soon she and Tamara first met, they became partners in crime. It was clear to me then and when I first decided to propose, that she would be the one to help make this day perfect for Tamara and I. I'd also like to thank you all for being here tonight. Let's raise a glass. Tamara, I have loved you since the moment I met you and I will love you for always and forever." he says. Tamara stands and kisses him, tears in her eyes "I love you." she smiles. "I love you too, my love." Klaus responds, kissing her back.

Tamara smiles as wraps her arms round Klaus' shoulders, the two of them having their first dance to 'Unchained Melody'. Klaus dips Tamara, making her giggle "Nik!" she squeals slightly. Klaus chuckles and gently kisses her "This has always been our son." he smiles. "Well, since it came out in 1965." Tamara smiles back. "Since it came out in 1965, one of the only good parts of the sixties." Klaus nods. Tamara giggles, nodding her head in agreement. The song comes to an end, the guests clapping for them. Just then 'Stand By You' starts play "May I?" Damon asks, putting a hand out to Tamara. "You may." Tamara smiles, taking her older brother's hand. Damon smiles and spins her, beginning to dance with her "I love you Tammy." he tells her. "I love you too Damey." Tamara smiles, resting her head on his chest as they continue to dance. Part way through the song, Damon spins Tamara, making her spin into Stefan's waiting arms "We wanted to share a dance with you together." he tells her. "I glad you did." Tamara smiles. "I love you Tam, you'll always be our baby sister. No matter what." Stefan tells her with a smile. "I love you too, Twinnie." Tamara responds, the two of them holding each other close as they finish the dance together.
