(Schyler's POV)
*a month after warped.*
Uhhh why does my head hurt so much?
"GET YOUR FAT ASS DOWN HERE!" My step father yelled. I know what will happen if I dont. I get out of bed and walk down stairs.
"Why can't you just leave me alone?" I mumble, hoping he doesn't hear me.
"What did you just say?"
"Nothing."
"Liar!" He yelled as he grabbed me by my hair. I hate this. It has happened everyday since warped tour. The beatings use to be once a month or week, but now they are an everyday thing. My step father beat me until he felt like I learned my lesson. I ran back upstairs into my room. I close and lock my door. I get my phone and text Austin.
M: hey when do you leave Oklahoma?
A: in a few days. Why?
M: can you come get me?
A: yeah, just get ready to explain.
M: I plan on it.
I grab my charger, wallet, clothes, and all the nessesites. I put it all in a bag and empty out my piggy bank. I make sure I have everything I need. I don't plan on coming back. My phone goes off.
A: I'm here.
M: k I'm coming.
A: k
I grab my bag. I look back at my room and notice I almost left my beanie and cousin's ring. I grab them and run out the door. When I get to the front door my step father emerged out of his room.
"Where do you think you ae going?" He asks.
"Far away from this hell hole." I yell. He starts to grab me, but I run out the door and into Austin's car.
"GO!" I yell. Austin drives off.
"Ok spill."
"Ever since I left the party at warped tour, my step father started beating me daily. It use to happen like once a week to once a month." I said.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Austin yells.
"Austin, don't worry about it." I mumbled.
"Don't worry about it?!"
"Fucking drop it Austin! Ok I don't want to talk about it!" I yell. After that, the rest of the ride was quiet. We get to the bus and Austin helps me get my things.
"Austin where did you go?" I heard Tino ask.
"LIL BIT!" Alan screams.
"It's nice to see you too." I laugh.
"Just askin, why are you here?" Aaron asks.
"Oh my god, what happened to your face?" Alan yells.
"Yes Alan that's what every girl wants to here." I joke.
"No seriously." Tino said.
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Guys drop it. I don't think she will want to talk about it for a while. I wouldn't if i were her." Austin said.
"Oh before I forget. Pierce the veil is coming over in about an hour." Alan said.
"Why?" I ask.
"They want to hang out."
"Well don't tell them I'm here." I said
"Why not? You're all Mike talks about." Aaron mumbled.
"Dude, shut up!" Phil said. When did he get in here?
