(Mike's pov)
"Bye Schy." I said. She tensed up when I said that. Did I do something wrong? Does she hate that nickname? I will figure it out later. My phone goes off.
"Hello?"
"Hey man, I was wondering if you could pick us up some food? OM&M guys want Chinese and we all agreed upon it. So please?"
"Yes Vic I will."
"Did you tell her?"
"No. But I'm worried I did something wrong."
"Why would you say that?" Vic asked.
"When I said bye, I called her Schy and she tensed up."
"Hmmm, maybe Austin knows."
"Will you ask him?"
"Yeah hold on." He said. I could hear him yell at Austin and Austin yell back.
"So?"
"He doesn't know."
"Well tell him not to say anything."
"Okay." Then he yelled at Austin.
"Bye Vic."
"Bye Mike." He said and hung up. I needed a way to get to Schyler. I really like her, but don't know how to tell her. But I do have an idea on how to get her.
(Schyler's pov)
"Are you sure your uncle is okay with me staying here?" I asked.
"Yeah, he said you were the only one he liked out of all my friends." Kenzie said. I'm not gonna argue with her anymore about this.
"So what do you want to do?" She asked.
"Wanna go to hot topic?"
"What kind of question is that?"
"A serious one."
"You should know the answer to that question."
"I will take that as a yes."
"Take that as a hell yeah!"
"Okay. Let's go." I said. She grabbed her keys and wallet and I grabbed my wallet and phone. I looked at my phone I had 5 messages from Mike
F:what did I do?
F: are you mad at me?
F: Schy.
F: please don't be mad at me.
F: you are really worrying me.
M: Mike I'm not mad at you, you didn't do anything wrong. Why would you ask that?
F: when I called you Schy I saw you tense up.
M: it wasn't anything you did. I just don't like being called Schy.
F: may I ask why?
M: history I don't want to talk about.
F: okay. And I'm still waiting for you to fulfill your promise. 😉
"What promise?" Kenzie asked.
"Mike made me promise to let him see me in shorts and boots." I explained.
"Why would you agree to do that? I know you."
"Well he wouldn't leave me alone. I told him he could see me in jeans and boots, but it wasn't good enough for him. He kept whining when I told him no. It was annoying."
