"It's nice that the doctors are letting you beyond the hospital gates," Izu smiled as he, Shoto, Kat, and Rei sat down at a cafe. "Izuku's right. Even if it is just for an hour," Shoto agreed.
"What do you nerds wanna drink?" Kat stood, looking at Shoto and Izu. Shoto frowned a little, "Don't talk to my mother like that." Rei smiled, lovingly, "It's alright, Shoto."
"Don't talk to my mother like that," Katsuki mocked, rolling his eyes. " Tch- I wasn't talking to her, IcyHot." Shoto simply brushed him off, mumbling, "Mhm, sure."
Izu sighed, smiling nervously, "Strawberry and Mango smoothie please, Kacchan." Shoto looked at the menu sitting on the table, "A water, I guess-" Kat groaned, "Oh my god- You're so damn boring." The blonde haired boy looked at Rei, "What would you like to drink-?" Izu's jaw dropped, "Are YOU being polite?! OH MY GOD THE WORLD IS ENDING I KNEW IT!!!"
Kat blushed, knocking Izu upside the head, "OH SHUT IT YA DAMN NERD!!" Rei chuckled, "I suppose I'll just have a water also, Katsuki." Izu stood, "And while Kacchan's doing that, I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Shoto and Rei watched as Kat and Izu walked away.
She turned to Shoto, "So, has anything new happened?" Shoto rubbed the back of his neck, "Well- not much but-...." Rei tilted her head, "But?"
He took a deep breath, "So- you know about what I had said about having two soulmates last time.....?" She nodded as he continued, "Well- The thing is- The reason why I brought Katsuki and Izuku here was to meet you because-.....They are my soulmates....."
Shoto's palms began to sweat a little bit and his eyes were focused on his lap as he waited for her to say something.
"I know," Rei chuckled softly.
Shoto looked at her, "What?"
"I know," she repeated. "I'm old enough to put the pieces of the puzzle together. You said that you had two soulmates and that one of them is Izuku. Why else would you bring them here, to meet me?"
"I suppose you're right-...." Shoto blushed faintly, going silent.
"Mom....?"
"Hm?" Rei looked at him. "What is it, Shoto? Are you okay?" He swallowed hard as he stared down at his lap, "A-Are you okay with it....?"
"With what?" she asked. "Katsuki and Izuku being your soulmates?"
"Yes," Shoto answered.
"Do they make you happy?"
Rei began to smile as Shoto nodded.
"Do you care about them?"
He nodded.
"And not just as classmates or friends?"
He nodded again and mumbled quietly, "I-.....I think I'm attracted to boys, Mom..... And I didn't notice until just recently.... I never realized how much they mean to me- Katsuki and Izuku. And even if they didn't like the idea of it at first, they-....they were willing to give "us" a chance. And I appreciate that. So-....Are you okay with it....?"
Rei was about to answer when suddenly, she giggled, "Well how can I say "no" to those little faces?" Shoto tilted his head in confusion, "Faces?" He looked behind him to see Katsuki and Izuku standing there, their cheeks a faint red.
Izuku hugged Shoto, tightly, burying his face into the crook of Shoto's neck, "I love you...." His words were quiet as he began to tremble. "Izuku.....?" Shoto cupped the little bean's cheeks, making him look up at Shoto. Tears were running down Izu's cheeks and snot running from his nose.
"You are such a crybaby, Deku. You know that?" Kat chuckled softly, wiping off Izu's face with a tissue. Izuku blushed softly as he hugged Shoto and Katsuki.
Rei smiled warmly, "Looks to me that you three really are meant for each other."
