The echoes of their hurried footsteps resonated through the deserted corridors as they rushed back to the Slytherin common room. Alora could feel her heart pounding in her chest, a mix of worry and adrenaline fueling her steps.

Alora and Astra were towards the back while the other boys were up front, Mattheo dragging Alora along as Theodore tugged Astra. Somehow, no teachers had been there to witness the fight and they hadnt been caught yet.

'Won't they tell a teacher?' Alora asks, a mix of confusion and fear in her tone as she tried to ignore the ache in her legs as she tried to keep up

'No way, they got their asses handed to them, they'd be too embarassed to say what actually happened, they'll probably just get an older student to help them get patched up or something,' Astra said with a giggle, her hand coming up to her face to wipe some blood away from her busted lip.

They made it to the entrance of the Slytherin common room. 'Pureblood,' Mattheo quickly voiced, the entrance opening up for them. They would have gone back to Gryffindor tower but it was further away and the boys wouldnt have been able to get into their dorm anyways because of the stairs.

As they entered the common room they looked around, there were only a few students, pretty much everyone else was still down at breakfast or in their dorms getting ready for class. Though the people that were in the common room were either glaring at the two Gryffindors or looking at them with confusion.

'Come on, up here,' Mattheo told the two girls and then the five of them made their way to their dorm.

'Do all three of you share a dorm?' Alora asked curiously as they approached the door. They nodded their heads, Jasper pushing the door open.

Alora looked around the room, there were three beds, two of the beds were made, the areas around them relatively clean while the other two were messy, clothes lying around. Alora felt slightly out of place as she stood in the Slytherin

Alora watched Jasper lead Astra over to one of the messy beds and begin to scold her while walking off to get something to clean her wounds with. Theodore threw himself on his bed, one of the clean ones, and began to talk to Astra, the two of them laughing.

Alora grabbed Mattheo's wrist and began to drag him over to the other messy bed which she assumed was his, which she was right as she watched Mattheo quickly shoot forwards and try and throw some of the dirty clothes off his bed before she saw them.

'There's. first aid kit in the bedside table,' Mattheo huffed

"You should really learn to keep your space cleaner," she remarked with a half-smile, teasingly eyeing the room's disorder.

Mattheo gave a sheepish grin, a faint flush tinting his cheeks. "Yeah, sorry about that."

As Alora moved to retrieve the first aid kit from the bedside table, Mattheo attempted to assist, only to receive a light smack on his hand.

'Sit down' Alora grumbled

Reluctantly obeying, Mattheo settled onto the edge of the bed, watching Alora rummage through the first aid kit with a hint of amusement. He observed her quiet determination and the gentle way she handled the supplies, feeling a sense of gratitude for her caring nature. He couldn't figure out why she cared so much.

Alora turned toward Mattheo, a serious yet compassionate expression on her face as she began examining his injuries. She was meticulous, cleaning each wound with a delicate touch, mindful not to cause unnecessary discomfort.

"It's not that bad," Mattheo commented, trying to lighten the atmosphere.

Alora shot him a look that told him not to downplay his injuries. "Don't pretend it doesn't hurt," she said softly, her eyes meeting his, conveying both concern and reassurance.
