I was just scrolling through instagram when my phone started ringing. I picked up the phone without looking at who called.
Me: Hello
Dana: Hey cutie what you up to?
Me: Oh hey Dana I'm scrolling through instagram
Dana: ok by the way I'm on my way to your house.
Me:yes because I absolutely said you can come over
Dana:yeah you know you want me over anyways
Me:shut up and just come hang out with me
Dana:i knew it love u Marina hahaha see ya in 5 minutes
Me: Ok
That was my best friend Dana this usually happens everyday. No to long I heard him walk through the house. "Honey I'm home!" Dana said playfully. "Oh well my how was work?"I faked a country accent while walking downstairs."It was stressful day I think you need to de-stress me. "he said seductively while walking closer to me wrapping his arms around my waist. This action made butterflies erupt in my stomach. Cliche but I have a crush on my best friend. "In your dreams lover boy." I told him pushing him away by his chest. "Aww you can't blame a guy for trying Marina." he said walking up to my room. Once we got up there we just cuddled up on my bed and watched tv. "Marina I'm bored." he said getting up from where we were laying. "Well what do you want to do?" I asked him. "I don't know." he simply said. "Well dumbo how I'm supposed to know what you you want to do." I asked him laughing. He snapped his head towards me and he tackled me and started to tickleing me. "Dana. No.Stop." I said in between laughs. "Not until you take back calling me a dumbo." he told me. "N-never!" I shouted as he continued. After a while I gave in and he stopped but he just stayed hovering over me laughing. I don't know if I was crazy but I saw he started to lean in. But before I knew it his lips were on mine. I didn't hesitate to kiss back it felt so amazing to finally kiss him. We continued for a couple minutes before he pulled back. "I love you." he whispered but quickly moved away from me and ran out of my room. I ran after him but he was already out the door.
It has been 2 days since Dana told me he loved me. I tried calling him texting him but he doesn't answer any of them. At school he just avoids me. So today I decided to go to his house and confront him. I knocked on the door and Joni answered. "Hey Joni is Dana here?" I asked. "Hey Marina yeah he is in his room." she said opening the door more so I could walk in. I thanked her and quickly went to his room. I knocked on the door, I heard a faint come in and I slowly opened the door and entered. He was on his bed looking at the ceiling he looked toward the door and his eyes widened when he saw me. "Uh Marina what are you doing?" he asked. "Well Dana I came to talk about what happen two days ago." I told him. "Look I'm sorry it just came out and I understand-" he started but I cut him by kissing him. "Dana shut up." I told him as we pulled away. "I love you too." I told him and he pulled me back in for another passionate kiss.
