I was sitting on my bed when my phone started to buzz. I picked it up seeing that I got a text from my bestie Will.
W:Hey cutie
When he called me cutie it made butterflies erupt in my stomach. Oh did I fail to mention that I have the biggest crush on my best friend. It's been that way since we were kids. And it just grew as we got older. But he could never like me back.
L:hey what's up
W:nun much do u want to go out with me tonight?
L:sure I'd love 2
W:good be ready at 8
L:ok
I looked at the clock and it read 6:45. So I decided to get up and get ready. I showred got my clothes and had a little snack just so I wouldn't be too hungry. Before I know it was 8 and Will was ringing the door bell. I opened it to be meet by a familiar tall brown eyed figure. "Hey Will! " I said. "Hey Lailoni you look gorgeous." he said and I couldn't help but blush. He led me to his car. On the ride we laughed goofed off and sung in harmony. "Where are we going? " I asked. "It's a surprise!" he said with a big smile on his face. I sighed but let it go. After a while we arrived and I was so happy when I saw where he had taken us. "Will Jay Behlendorf! you did not take us to our childhood hangout." I said shocked it had been years since we both been here. When we were kids we found this tree on a hill that had the most beautiful view of the sky.
"Oh but I did." he said with a cheeky grin. I gave him the biggest hug known to man and he set out a blanket so we could sit. It was perfect timing of when we got here it was just the beginning of the sunset. "This brings back so many memories." I said leaning my head on his shoulder. "Yeah I know we came up here a lot." he said with a little chuckle. "You know what I remember the most from up here?" I questioned with a smirk. "What?" he asked. "When we were 13 and we shared our first kiss." I told him smiling at the memory. "Ugh I thought we said we never talk about that again. I was such a horrible kisser." he groaned. "Well I'm pretty sure you are a much better kisser now." I said without thinking. In the corner of my eye I could she him blushing. "I'm pretty sure I'm not." he told me. "Here let's see if I right or not." you said with a raised eyebrow challenging him. "Are you serious?" he asked and I just nodded my head . At this point both of us were blushing. But he agreed and we both started to lean in. When his lips touched mine it was electrifying. And it confirmed that he was by far a lot better now. I didn't want it to end but he pulled back and we just sat in silence gazing into each other's eyes. "Lailoni I 've liked well loved you for some time now and I just had to get that off my chest but it's ok if y-" he said but I cut him off with another kiss. "I love you too." I told him as we parted. "Lailoni will you do me the honor of being mine?" he asked me. "Yes I would love too."
