For the next three weeks, Lisa and Jennie spent all their free time together. They meet up for coffee dates and dinners throughout the week when they weren't working and spent hours working on Manoban Inc. Projects. Their nights were spent together at bar, and their weekends exploring the city.
It was the day of the presentation for the government buyers, and Jennie was nervous. What if her idea is stupid? What if they didn't take her seriously because she was still a student? She sat in the conference room wih Lisa and her mother, fidgeting cutely.
Lisa and Chitthip smiled endeared, and looked at each other, silently communicating their needs to calm the brunette.
They give her words of encouragement that helped her raising panic slow, but only to be picked up again when Lisa's father the CEO of Manoban Inc, Mike Manoban entered the room.
"Everything set ladies?" He asked smiling.
Jennie shook nervously as she met Lisa's eyes. "Are you sure I should be here? I mean I'm still a student, what if that hurts your chances?"
Mike smiled at her daughter's girlfriend and took the seat next to hers.
"We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you dear. Besides I'm the CEO. Did you think I wouldn't know everything about the woman dating my daughter. You're top of your class and your professors sing praises for your hard work and dedication. Your own father was a military man, which means you're not ignorant of the way military works and as a fellow Marine with a daughter I know, our children pick up a lot. Before Lisa joined, she already knew more about guns and strategies than any other teen of her age. You fixed a problem within minutes that had out high paid engineers stumped. You deserve to be here just as much as others. Now where is the sassy girl that stood up to Lisa's annoying ex?"
Jennie giggled, feeling her shoulders relax as her confidence came back. She smiled and said. "Apparently she just needed a stern talking to from a ex Marine father to calm her nerves. Thank you Mr Manoban."
Mike chuckled at her reply. "Dear anyone who throws that skank Nayeon out of my daughters life is a friends for life. Call me Mike though."
Jennie and Chitthip giggled as Lisa laughed loudly covering her face. "Dad! God, you can be such a girl about things." Lisa exclaimed.
Mike shrugged. "You mess with one, you mess with all. As a fellow Marine you should know."
Lisa nodded smiling.
Mike's assistant knocked on the door signaling the arrival of the government officials.
"Time to get to work." Mike said.

"And this student understands the kind of things that we're looking for?" Asked a skeptical Military analyst.
Mike motioned for Jennie and she stood walking near the guns displayed on the table.
"My father was an Ex Marine and my whole life he told me stories of how hard the soldiers have it. He talked about scenarios where that could have been prevented if there had been a better equipment to aid them during evacuation. These guns a whole pound lighter than the issued military rifle, which makes mobility easier." Jennie xplained passing the weapons around the table for men to hold.
"They are not only lighter, but work exactly the same as the average gun. The difference be aside the weight...." Jennie continued as she took off a piece of gun, showing a hidden sliver lining within the disconnected pieces.
"Is that when soldiers are stranded without their tags or anything but their weapons, this lining can be used to signal planes and helicopters of their location. It is bright enough to be seen through the branches and bright deserts. It could mean a lot to a soldier waiting for rescue, and time for rescuers in hostile areas to get their comrades." She finished reassembling the gun quickly, shocking them at how natural her hands handled the weapons.
