Jennie sat in her ruined dress, letting a discreet physician bandage the many scratches and bite marks on her skin, as she listened to Seulgi excitedly explain the whole scene to Irene, Mike, Bambam and Somi who were hanging on her every word.

"Oh my god Jennie!" Irene burst laughing loudly with Bambam.

"You broke Nayeon's nose!" Somi exclaimed, giggling uncontrollably.

Mike laughed so hard that he was unable to form words without breaking into laughter in between.

"Oh dear, that had to be the best gift you could give to this family." He said finally calming down a bit.

Jennie chuckled lightly. "I warned her not once but twice that I would kick her ass if she came near us again. I'm no liar." She shrugged.

The room filled with laughter, even the doctor bandaging her arm was having hard time to maintain his professionalism, eventually a chuckled or two escaped from him at the end, making the family laugh harder.

"Well I took some blood and cleaned the bite marks. I'll test the blood and make sure you didn't contact anything serious." The doctors announced, packing up his kit.

"God only knows what kind of diseases Nayeon has." Said Seulgi, scrunching her nose in disgust.

Jennie shot a glare as the shot back. "Thanka Seulgi for your assuring words."

Seulgi snorted. "What are your worried about? You could burn half your body and Lisa would still think you're God's gift to women."

Jennie smiled shyly. "That's true." She whispered.

The room again filled with laughter and teased Jennie relentlessly.

The laughter soon died when a worried chitthip came into the room followed by two Marines in formal uniform.

Seeing the look on the woman's face made the people in the room sober instantly.

"What's wrong, chitthip?' Asked Mike nervously.

"Some Marines came to talk to us about Lisa." The mother announced tearfully, rushing to her husband's side, searching for comfort.

Jennie felt the walls in the room close around her, making her breathing stop as fear gripped her chest tightly, making her body shake in trepidation.

"We're sorry to interrupt your lovely night, but we need to speak to the Manoban's alone." The female Marine announced without a single expression to reveal what news she has got.

"We are all family here. Please just tell us that you're not here to say my daughter's dead." Mike rushed his words out in panic.

"Two days ago your daughter's mission director lost contact with the First Sergeant Manoban's team. We can't confirm proof of life or death, but we were told to prepare you incase the worst case scenario should happen. The Marine corps is promising every resource we have to help and aid them in their rescue. We won't until we have some kind of explanation on where your loved one have gone." The female solder replied, finally showing sympathy.

"But Lisa wasn't scheduled to come home for at least another month, is there any chance she is just late checking in?" Asked chitthip desperately.

"There's a chance of that, yes. But we were told to appetise you of any situation regarding your daughter's health. There's still hope that this is just preliminary meeting and we will inform you of her safe return in a couple days. But prepare yourselves if this is not that." The Soldier replied gently.

"What about Jisoo and Jeongyeong? Are they with Lisa?" Jennie asked with a shaky voice.

"The Soldiers shot each other a look, before looking to the Manoban's for permission to speak. One Mike nodded, she said. "Yes, the whole team is together where ever they are."
