"That was so good... I would actually do that again like right now" she says as she looks at him who has the biggest smirk on his face. All of a sudden, Madi's phone buzzes. A message from her dad.

HOME NOW!!!!
"Oh shit. My dad knows I left the house. I need to go back home..." she says as she runs to put her clothes back on. "Oh shit. Baby, you need to run or else he will come here and look" Lando says. "I love you, Lan. More than anything" she says as she kisses him. "I love you too, Mads" he says as he helps her climb out his window. Madi is definitely dead.
Grounded. For a week. No phone, no seeing Lando after school, no nothing. Luckily, Madi didn't go into detail about where she was so Lando got in no trouble but he wasn't happy when she got to school on Monday. They both went to their form room. When Madi walks in, she sees Lando with his arms crossed looking at her. She sits down in her seat and Lando looks incredibly pissed at her. "Why didn't you reply to any of my messages???" he says and Madi looks at him. "I got grounded for sneaking out of the house... It's not your fault though. They took my phone and I can't see you after school for a week..." she says and Lando immediately brings her into his arms. "How can I not feel like it was my fault?" he says while holding her close. "How am I meant to spend the rest of the week not seeing you after school..." she says. "Well... what do you usually do when you're grounded?" he asks before Mason joins in with the conversation. "Madi's never been grounded by our parents. I'm always the centre of attention and it was just really unlucky that they decided to check on her for once and she snuck out to yours" he says. "Sometimes I wish I could just go back to being like Seven at least then I wouldn't be grounded for being happy" she says. "Just try and keep going, baby. It's only a week. Maybe we could do something fun on the weekend when you aren't grounded anymore?" he says and she smiles. "Actually, I know there's a karting thing happening on Saturday. Maybe we could go to that. you used to do karting, didn't you?" she says and he smiles as he thinks back to those times. "Yeah... I actually miss it a lot. It would be quite nice to get back into a kart. It was the only thing that used to give me happiness. I only stopped it because of school so it might be nice to try and go back to it" he says with a smile. "Well then we can do that! Maybe you will do really well and be a formula 1 driver one day" she says with a small laugh. "That would literally be the dream" he says.
Saturday... day of karting.
Madi is finally ungrounded and now the couple are making their way to the circuit. "If you crash into me, I'm breaking up with you" she says and he laughs. "Shush. I'm not gonna crash into you. I'm a professional!!" he says and she bursts out laughing. "Hey, guys!" Lando says as he walks over to see the three other boys there. Alex Albon, George Russell & Oscar Piastri. "You must be Lando! I'm Alex. The guy who hasn't got a shirt on is George and the Aussie one is Oscar" Alex says before the couple hear Oscar scream. "George put a fucking shirt on!!!!!!" Oscar yells and runs from George. "Oh hi guys. Sorry about that, George keeps traumatising me" Oscar says and looks at Madi. "Who have you brought with you, Lando?" Oscar asks and Lando smiles while wrapping his arm around Madi. "This is my gorgeous girlfriend, Madi. I have a feeling she's gonna be a natural at karting" Lando says and Madi smiles. "Come on, let's get in these karts" Madi says and they all sit in the karts.
Lando won the race. Madi knows that Lando has potential to be in professional racing groups but she doesn't think Lando knows that.
