~ Chapter Thirteen ~

Luckily she passed out on the bed and in Lando's arms. "Wha- what happened? Did I.. pass out again?" she asks while still feeling very weak. "Yeah.. you fainted right in my arms again. You literally went down like an Anchor off a ship... Don't try to do anything though. You're too weak at the moment" he says as he lays down and moves her so she's laying on top of him in his arms. "I'm starting to think that maybe Evie hit me on the head really hard in the fight..." she says before putting her hand on her head "fuck.. my head is killing.." she says and rests her head down again while Lando starts to stroke her head gently. "It's ok, baby... I've got you.. I love you so much" he says while holding her in his arms gently. Madi mumbles slightly as she's quite weak but Lando can translate her mumbles of "I love you too". "Try and get some rest" he says as he watches her fall asleep while some tears fall from his eyes which he tries to get rid of quickly so Madi doesn't notice. Lando tells Madi multiple times that it's going to be ok, but he's actually really worried. He's never seen Madi in this state before and he's 99% sure that passing out this often after being hit on the head isn't good. However, he knows how hard it will be to convince Madi to go to the doctors as she's probably the most stubborn girl in the world.

After a few hours, Lando wakes up to go to the toilet and leaves Madi on the bed in the best way he can. As soon as he comes back.. he notices that she was snoring when he left her and now she's not making a single sound and Lando being the extremely protective boyfriend that he is; he decides to wake her up. "Mads? Hey.. wake up, Mads" he says while shaking her slightly. "Mads?? Baby??? Wake up!!!" he says a bit louder as he shakes her a bit more. "Madi!!?? Madison!!?? Wake up!!" he says louder while still shaking her. "Baby.. please wake up!!! Come on... wake up, Madi!!!" he says while shaking her a little bit more violently with tears in his eyes because he's really dramatic and always thinks the worst. "Madi??? Baby.. please" he whispers and shakes her a little bit more. Eventually Madi wakes up. "wha- what's going on?" she says as she struggles to wake up. Lando looks at her with tears in his eyes "you.. you didn't sound like you were breathing and I got scared so I was shaking you... but... you wouldn't wake up... and... I thought I lost you..." he says through his tears. She smiles and looks at him "I think I'm ok, Lan. My head just really hurts but I don't think anything else is hurting.." she says while wiping the tears from his face. "Just please don't scare me like that again..." he says as he hugs her tightly. She tries to hug him back best she can but struggles slightly due to feeling weak. "Am I allowed to go back to sleep now?" she asks and Lando giggles a bit "yeah, princess. I will keep an eye on you... I love you" he says as she rests her head on his chest again and cuddles into him. "I love you too, Lan.." she says before falling asleep.
