Kuvira smiled as she held Baatar close, dancing to the song playing over the radio. She couldn't believe this was really happening. She was finally married. Her and Baatar could finally start their lives together, just like they'd always talked about. This felt like a fairytale for her. Just like the ones Su read to her when she was younger. She was the Princess, and Baatar was her Prince. Everything was perfect in this moment.

Her mind drifted back to her Earth Empire days. Before, they'd been painful memories, but now they were her best memories. She thought back to her dates with Baatar. They weren't really traditional dates. More like casual strolls through whatever city they were in. But, it was nice. She loved that time she had spent with him.

When they were alone, Kuvira could say anything and everything. And that was exactly what she did. Whatever was stressing her, whatever made her happy, whatever made her sad. Baatar was the only one she spoke so openly with. With him, she was more vulnerable. Normally, this would scare her. With Baatar, however, it was comforting.

Closing her eyes, Kuvira allowed herself to be caught up in the moment. The music seemed to swirl around her. It felt like they were dancing on a cloud. In this moment, nothing else mattered. It was just her and Baatar.

Kuvira laid her head on Baatar's shoulder. Oh how she wished this moment could last forever.

When the song ended, Kuvira reluctantly pulled away. The two gazed into each other's eyes, smiling.

"I love you," Baatar whispered.

"I love you, too," Kuvira whispered back. "We're finally a family. It all seems so surreal. So magical."

"Ever since we left Zaofu to unite the Earth Empire, you were always my family," Baatar told his wife.

He pulled her into a gentle hug, kissing her passionately. This was her fairytale. It was finally happening. She was finally getting her happily ever after.
