"Are you sure I can do this?"

Kuvira looked around the dance studio. When her eyes met her reflection, she couldn't help but stop and stare. The green dance outfit she wore brought back so many memories from her days in Suyin's dance troupe. It felt so strange to wear them again. Seeing herself in these clothes, with her hair braided like this brought her back to her Zaofu days. She couldn't help but smile. Oh how she missed this.

"What's got you so smiley?" Lin asked.

"I was just thinking," Kuvira said. "Wearing this again reminds me so much of my life in Zaofu. I just... Well, it's strange, really. It makes me happy to think about it."

The Police Chief nodded.

"I see," she said. "Su says you'll make a fantastic dance teacher. It's been four years, and you've helped rebuild most of the Earth Nation, as well as worked with the new elected officials. You could have joined the United Republic Military, too."

I know," Kuvira replied. "But, I don't think that's what I want. I think it's best to leave my military days behind. I'll probably help Korra out, but over all, I think this may be what's best for me. So, who did the props and stuff in here?"

"Huan," Lin told her.

Kuvira chuckled. "Why am I not surprised? They're amazing, though." She turned back to Lin. "I suppose you're going to watch me to make sure I'm not secretly planning to take over the world again?" she teased.

"That's exactly my job," the older woman said, giving her a small smirk. "Nah, I trust you, kid. You've been doing a great job."

Kuvira smiled and walked to the center of the room. She did a few warm up stretches, and then began going through a few of her old routines.

"I'm a bit rusty," she said with a sigh.

"You'll get it again," Lin said encouragingly. "Besides, it's only June 24th, and you don't start until September. You have time to practice."

"You're right," Kuvira said. "Thank you so much, Lin. For trusting me. It really means a lot to me. I hope you know that."

Lin gave her a small smile.

"No problem, kid. You've earned it."
