I was born in a small town while my single mother raised her. She always celebrated her interest and made sure I felt valued. Since I was little, I loved to sing and no matter what mum always made sure I was happy with what I do. When  I was around eight, I participated in my school talent show with a signing  act. I was so ecstatic expect when I went on stage my palms began to sweat. To make things better my mum smiled at me and said"you can do this Makenzie." After that I knew I could do it and I took a deep breath and sang my heart out just like my grandma said the audience can tell when your emotions are force. After that everyone told me I had a delightful voice. When I was 15 I auditioned for a talent show and by the time I was in collage I got the role. But sadly, I would have to leave everything I had. As I got on the train, I saw my mum tear up as I would be apart until 5 month.

I make everyone cry when I singWhere stories live. Discover now
