And I do want you to be afraid, I'm delirious."

Chapter I: Desire🍂

🔸So Mun POV

It is like something cold on my back, like ice cones, or sheets of glass sliding like hands on the surface of a piano. Yet it is my back that they are dancing on and not a piano, and the shivering sensation pierces my skin from side to side, enters my flesh and etches my bones.

I shiver.

"It's cold..." I groan between words, squeezing my eyes shut, my forehead beaded with sweat, because the hands are ceaseless, and those fingers keep moving over my body, probing the skin like a strange veneration.
They are pushing from my back down to my hips, tracing on the way, my pelvis, my legs and the inside of my thighs.
They give me no rest.
"Your hands are cold" I gasp, when he touches an unexposed part of my body, when he reaches the end of my stomach and the beginning of my groin.

"Stop!"

I want to open my eyes, but I have a fear of knowing who is touching me, because for some strange reason I think I know. I know the owner of those icy fingers.

"Open your eyes, So Mun" A sour iron tone, sprinkled with deep hatred that permeates the hallways of my sensible ears. A low voice composed of vocal chords that vibrate in my mind, arousing a sense of dominance, of authority that does not go unnoticed.

"Look at me So Mun!"

I open my eyes wide, and when I lift my eyelids I meet his angular face, linear and pale like a type of snow that never recedes. That never melts away.
"Adrian..." My voice trembles, and my eyes grow even wider.
He looks at me smugly, and I know I am in a dream; it has to be a dream. It can't be real.
"What are you doing here! How did you...!" I become afraid, searching for a much needed distance, a distance I can't find because Adrian cancels it out.
I look around recognizing my room, my grandparents' house, how did he get here? Why didn't I sense his presence? Why didn't Wi-Gen tell me anything?

"You think too much my boy. You forget that I too can move territories to my liking, I too can be very cautious if i want to"

When I realise I'm trapped, I try to push him away, to use my powers, but they don't work and as a result I get scared again.
Adrien smirks, advancing on top of me, pushing me mercilessly against the mattress of my bed.
His dark eyes look at me eagerly, with an ardor I hardly know, I feel him searching every single inch of my face, and then his cold hands follow again.
"No! Get away! Don't touch me!"
I cry out in vain, as his fingers close around my neck in an iron grip.
"Wi-gen Help! Help me! Do Ha-na! Mo-tak! Someone-" I am suddenly silenced.

"Easy boy... Shhh".
He runs his fingers over my lips, closing his hand over them, and now I know my body is shaken by tremors of fear.
"I'm not here to harm you. I merely wish to remind you that escape is futile, So Mun..." Slowly, he leans down, his thick hair brushing against my neck.
He is dressed in a fine black robe, while I'm in my rumpled pyjamas, disheveled because of him, courtesy of his intrusion.
"... to remind you that you are mine."

{End of nightmare }

🍂

I scream as I sit up, looking around terrified.

"So Mun! So Mun! It's only a dream! Calm down!"

I open my eyes at the sight of Ga Mo-Tak, Chu Mae-Ok, and Do Ha-na, all gathered around my bed, in our new underground hideout, the place where Choi Jang-Mul had moved us to hide from Adrien, and intensify our training.

I release a breath of relief as I realise that it had just been a bad nightmare, a scary dream that had left me breathless.

"Sorry guys..." I apologise, bringing my hands to my face to hide my emotions.

"We heard you screaming and came right away! You were struggling on the bed as if you were fighting someone or something!" Mo-Tak recounts, trying to pull my hands away from my face.

"You fool! Give him some space!" Mae-Ok swatts his hand away, giving me a smile of reassurance, her motherly face, her white hair reminding me so much of my grandmother.

"We're all here So Mun, it's okay"

Do Ha-na speaks, leaning over me to hug me, I feared for a moment that she might see what I had dreamed, and for that reason I pull away before she can pull me against her.

"Sorry guys... I- I just need a moment," I excuse myself, swiftly making my way to the bathroom. Their concerned gazes follows me, questioning expressions etched on their faces.

How could I share such a dream with them?

No, they couldn't know.

I absolutely had to see Wi-gen, I had to talk to her, and understand how it was possible that he had entered my dreams.

🔸

[ 2 hours later] 🍂

"Wi-Gen!"

I meet her in private, in the high places, in one of the many white rooms, unsteady and breathless with a clouded mind.

"So Mun! Are you all right?" Her presence enveloped me, resplendent in a pearl dress with long white hair cascading in delicate silver strands down her back.
Eyes of artificial blue locked onto mine.

"Have you seen my dream? Did you by any chance...?"

My inquiry hangs in the air, interrupted by her swift headshake.
"No, I couldn't see anything, but I sensed your fear, and I felt his longing... It was striking... Almost like a gust of lashing wind."

"What do you mean?" I seek for answers, grasping her hands in mine, searching for clarity in her clear eyes.

"I don't know, So Mun. It was a strange feeling. He didn't seem to want only your power; it was as if he desired you, too, amidst everything else. But I don't understand why? Why?"

I took a few steps away, almost losing my balance. "He wants me? What do you mean?"

Wi-Gen, thoughtful and uncertain, moved from one point to another.
"I don't know what he wants from you, but whatever it is, he won't stop. He has no intention of doing so."

"The others will be in danger because of me... Won't they? I can't let him do that! I have to kill him!"

"No, So Mun! Stay in your hiding place! Stay hidden and avoid him as much as possible," she scolds me, a motherly concern in her frail tone. "At least until we understand his intentions towards you."
Silently nodding, I bid farewell to Wi-Gen, returning to the familiar tables and chairs of our restaurant just as my best friends cross the doorstep.
In time to see Do Ha-na looking at me from the counter of the kitchen, somewhat worried and eager to know.
I adverted my eyes to escape her knowing gaze, not wanting for her to read into me so easily.
