Special- Leo X Riley

I was about 8 years old and in an orphanage. I had just gotten here and already met someone. His name was Leo. He had black curly hair and that cute elfish grin all the time. I had short shoulder length brunette hair. I had a tanish skin color that helped my brown eyes pop. "Hey!" Leo said as he walked up to me. "Hi." I said. "What's your name?" He asked as we walked to the cafeteria. "Riley Bricketts, what yours?" I asked and he smiled. "Leo Valdez, nice to meet you." He said and I shook his hand. Eventually, Leo and I both ran away from the orphanage. We were taken in a few towns away. And over and over. Eventually when we're both about 14, we were taken in at the school for "bad kids". We met Jason and piper at this school. A year later, we ran away to get to this camp. When Leo and I came closer, is when we stayed the night in a sewer. Jason and Piper were asleep, Leo and I were sitting and taking watch. He was tapping something in Morse code. I could tell, by the way I was frequent. "What are you saying Valdez?" I said in Morse code so he could understand. "Wait, you can under stand me?" He said in a whisper voice. "Yeah, I've been with since we were eight, and I've started to pick it up." I said and he blushed in the dim fire light. "OK. Listen to this." He said and started tapping. I, love, you. "Really?" I asked and he nodded. "Good. Because that make this just three more words special." I said and grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him into my face. Our lips met and I smiled. He brought his arms around my waist and I snaked mine up to his neck. We stayed his way until my lungs wer burning for air. We pulled apart and breathed in short gasps. After we calmed down, Leo woke up Jason and Piper to take watch. I laid down on the hard concrete and Leo laid next to me. When I was almost asleep, Leo put his arm around my waist protectively. I smiled and flipped over, so my back was facing Jason and Piper. "I love you." I whispered to Leo and he pecked my lips. "I love you too." He said and I snuggled closer to him.
