I wrote this part so long ago, and I promised a part two but I never did. So, as a recap here's the last paragraph from that chapter.
"Sweetie, I just think that you choose what you want. I am honestly relieved but sad that you aren't going to the school. We don't have to spend that much money. But they chose you. You didn't send out an application, they selectively chose you to come here. Remember the at when you decide what you wanna do." My mom, Sally Jackson said and went to do some dishes. Then I smiled. I walked to my bed room and opened up my computer.
I turned on the device and waited. I was going to call Nico, and I was almost certain he wasn't going to pick up. I yelled at him, and it was the middle of the day. I looked at the screen, finger on the button, ready to push it, initiating the call. I didn't. I waited 5 minutes. 10. 20. 35. I looked at my screen and looked at the time. It was 11:05. I sighed and closed the lid of my laptop. I have school tomorrow, so I decided to finish up some of my math.
4 hours later...
After 15 painful questions of geometry, I got up and decided to get lunch. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a handful of grapes. Nobody was home right now, mom and Paul were off at work, but should be coming home soon, it's three. I walked back to my room and put my homework away. I pulled out my laptop and saw I had a notification from Skype. I opened it, only to see it was from Percy.
'What's wrong with mom?' Dammit. Nico told Percy about our fight. I saw he was typing. 'and why did you make Nico cry?' ...What? Nico cried? I started typing.
'Can you call me right now?'
seconds later, ringing filled my ears. I answered.
"(y/n)! What's wrong?" Percy asked. I explained everything that happened between Nico and me, and what's going on with mom. "She has gotten a lot better though," I said ending my rant. "Nico was really mad at himself and you last night," Percy said. I heard a knock on the door. "Did Paul forget his keys again?" I asked. I grabbed my laptop and set it on the table next to the door. I unlocked the door and opened it. "Paul you need to stop forgetting your keys," I said and laughed. I looked to the door and saw it wasn't Paul. "I don't have keys to your place though," Nico said and smiled at me. I gasped and ran to him. He caught me as I jumped onto his torso and spun me around. I started crying. "Why are you here?" I asked as he set me down. "I came to see you, and to apologize. I'm sorry I over reacted." He said. I smiled at him and grabbed his face, pulling him down. Our lips met. I felt him smirk as he put his hands on my waist. "I forgive you. I'm so happy I get to see you." I said and he hugged me again. I heard the door open. "Nico! It's so good to see you again." I heard my mom say. "It's good to see you too Sally," Nico said. "Where's my hug?" She asked as she walked to the kitchen. I grabbed my laptop to see Percy was still on the call. Nico was hugging Sally when I walked in. "Mom!" Percy said. She continued to talk to Percy as I brought Nico to the other room. "I'm so sorry we fought. I was just frustrated that I hadn't seen you in a while." Nico said. "Don't worry, I forgive you. But hey guess what?" I said. "What?" Nico said. "That special boarding school sent me an application," I said. "Really? that's great!" HE said. "Don't worry, I'm not going. I'm going back to camp after Christmas." I explained. He smiled and hugged me. "Good, I can't stand another day without you." He said. We hugged as Percy and mom talked to each other in the other room.
