Hello my little Cupcakes! I'm really, honestly, truly, physically, emotionally, actually sorry about taking forever to update. My laptop decided to get sad for a while and refused to open the submit page for the story, but everything's ok now. I'll try to upload every other day, sometimes probably before then ^u^. Now, enough of this, Into the story we go! (Please note, there is going to a bit of perverted things in this chapter.)

Previously...Link watched you run off, unsure of where you went but he knew the general direction. He stood there, unable to process what had happened. "How long had she been standing there..?" He asked himself aloud quietly, walking to Instructor Horwell to ask about delaying the race. All the while, he thought about what was wrong, because, unknown to you, he saw you start to cry.
---------------------
You sniffled in your hiding spot, tear stains on your face. You had gone to your usual hiding place, the cave's waterfall. There had been odd stalks blocking the entrance, but you pushed them aside, noting for later that they bend quite easily. You had gone fairly deep into it this time, just in case someone came by. Groose and his friends always came through the cave, going to the outer part of it. You stayed hidden, as usual, when they did. Now, you were staring sadly at the exit, just barely inside the cave. You could feel the breeze gently playing with your hair from there.
You sighed softly. It had been about half an hour since you ran from Link, and you were sure the Wing Ceremony would start soon. You were supposed to participate in it, but you doubted that would happen. You couldn't bare to look at Link after he saw you cry. You sigh softly, listening to the water dripping in the cave, the breeze blowing lightly, the distressed call of a Loftwing.. Wait, Loftwing? You quickly stood up, and listened. you could hear a Loftwing cawing in distress, and it sounded close.
"That may be Link's Loftwing.. He might have gotten hurt!" You think to yourself as you follow the cries of the bird. As fate would have it, Link's Loftwing was the distressed bird in question. It was trapped inside of a small cavern, with wooden beams blocking the entrance, tied by rope. It cawed loudly when it saw you, knowing your face by heart. You ran up to the poor thing, pulling and tugging at the ropes. After a little while, you realized that it was no use. They were tied on too tight. Sighing, you slumped down next to some barrels, and panted quietly.
Link's loftwing gently nudged your hand, and cawed softly. You winced, feeling it nudge the blisters that were forming on your hands. Just then, you heard Link and.. Zelda's voices. Curling into a ball, you hid father behind the barrels as their footsteps approached. Link's Loftwing started cawing loudly at the sight of his master. Link approached, with a sword that you knew was from the training hall. He quickly cut the ropes binding the planks to the wall, allowing the Loftwing freedom.
He cawed, spreading his wings, before taking off to stretch them. "Now that we found your Loftwing, Link, We should head back to start the Ceremony!" Zelda said, and Link nodded in agreement. "But.. What about (Y/n)...?" Link asked, looking over the clouds. "What about her?" Zelda responded with, looking at him. "She was crying earlier.. She ran from me, and didn't say a word... It worries me.." Link said softly, before sitting on the barrels you were hiding behind. You held your breath, praying he didn't see you. "I'm sure she will show sooner or later. Now, come on!" Zelda said, pulling Link away from the barrels and, once again, pushing him off the edge. You heard them call their Loftwings, and take off. Sniffling, you knew that you couldn't miss this event. You dragged yourself from your hiding spot, and dove over the edge, calling your bird, and heading to the pillar you had hid behind almost an hour ago.
Groose and his gang were there and waiting for it to start. When Groose saw you, he grinned at you stupidly. Glaring back at him, you waiting for Link and Zelda to come back. You didn't wait long, as they flew down, Link's eyes widening at the sight of you. " (Y/n)! You're ok!" He said, rushing over to you. Although it hurt you, you turned away from him. " (Y/n)...? Are you.. ok..?" He asked softly. You went to respond, but Instructor Horwell called for attention. It would have to wait for now.
"Hello everyone. Welcome to this year's Wing Ceremony." As the Instructor talked and explained the rules, you stared intently at him, forcing yourself not to look at Link. "And this year, we have decided to up the graduating number of students who win this race to two. " He finished, and released the Loftwings that had the statues. "On your marks.. Get set.. Go!" At that moment, you bolted forward, diving off the edge and calling your Loftwing.
Racing against other people never really was your Forte, but never the less, you would still try. Gritting your teeth, you flew under Groose, reaching for one of the statues. A sudden gust of wing brought the Statue just out of reach, and made your skirt flare up. Groose, being the pervert he is, stared directly at you when it did so, grinning indefinitely. You, paying no mind to anything but winning, reached forward again. It was just barely in your reach when the Link flew by, one of the statues in his hand. The bird was startled, and changed direction. "Always something.." You mumbled to yourself. Link flew off to the side to watch, focusing only on you now. Diving, you rapidly gained speed, getting closer once again to the bird. You leaned farther, and farther.. And then one of Grooses goons knocked your bird forward, making you topple off it, grabbing the statue in the process. "(Y/N)!!" Link screamed, going to dive for you. You whistled for your bird again, Just before Link got to you. Pulling up on your bird's neck gently, you immediately shot out of the clouds you had fell in.
Link looked at you, worry shown blatantly on his features. You had gotten the statue, though. You were graduating to the next class. Sighing heavily in relief, you held it up, signaling the end of the race. Zelda called Links name, and dove onto his Loftwing, forcing him to catch her. The sight of it made your heart ache. Shaking your head, you followed them to the statue of the goddess.
"Good job you two!" Zelda said, smiling at you both. You simply nodded, then You and Link offered the statues to the altar slot in the goddess statue, as Zelda played the harp and sang. When she finished, she presented each of you with a sailcloth. "I knew there was going to be a second winner, so.. " She said, smiling again. "Now, to finish the Ceremony.." She turned you both around. "Jump!" She said, while pushing you both off, where you both landed perfectly unscathed on the ground, thanks to the sailcloth.
"Hey, (Y/n), Link, do you guys wanna go fly around? The weather is nice, and its a perfect day for it.." Zelda asked, getting close to Link.. Again. "Sure Zelda! Wanna come, (Y/n)? " Link said, unaware of how close she was. You sighed softly, and nodded, following them. You three called your birds, and were flying around together, when you noticed something off in the distance. It looked almost like a Tornado, which you thought was odd because it was Black.
"Hey, guys I think we should head back!" You called over to Link and Zelda, but they were to engrossed in their own conversation. "GUYS!" You yelled, and they looked over just as the Tornado got closer to you all, making the birds stop. They cawed, panicking, and Zelda fell off her bird. "Zelda!" You both screamed, diving for her. The blisters on your hand from earlier began to hurt immensely due to how tight you had to hold onto your bird, and with a cry of pain, you fell off your loftwing. "(Y/N)! Zelda!" Link cried, trying to get both of you, but the Tornado forced Link backwards. "Well, Shit.." was your last thought before falling unconscious.
"(Y/N)..."You looked around the darkness you were in. Someone called you? "Who's there?" You called into the darkness, and a great beast appeared. "What the hell is that thing?!" You yelled, stumbling back. It roared loudly, and a Light appeared above it, silencing it. "Mistress (Y/N)... It is time for you to awaken.. You are destined, with the chosen Hero, to save this land from otherwise inevitable destruction." The voice said again, and you felt light-headed.
"It is time to awaken, (Y/n), and save Skyloft and all of the world.."
