and as the rib cage expands for the last time, my thoughts consume me into the vast essence of the void.
how can something that holds so much meaning, be encapsulated into a short pamphlet and hour long service?
how can the memory of the once brilliant mind be nothing but words inscribed in calligraphy of his shaking thoughts?
how can the soul tie between hearts last a thousand lives, yet be broken so soon, it feels as though it's a scam?
how can i carry on, as when i close my eyes, all i see is your smiling face?
your belly laugh.
the dimples along your left cheek.
the tune you'd always hum when you got busy.
how can a life as important as yours, carry on as if it was nothing?
how can we carry on now that ur absence has made us feel like nothing?
the answer is simple;
we can't.
