THE RIDE to the hospital was extremely quiet as Ka'Mari drove calmly while Booka expertly rolled his blunt cause he knew he needed to get high to relax as Kiorlynn's mind raced with what seemed to be a thousand thoughts.
What if Ma'Kylin didn't remember them? What if this was only for the moment before something horrible happened?
What if he wasn't the same?
Kiorlynn didn't know how to feel in this moment. She was happy but then again she didn't want to get her hopes up.
"Get out of your head kiko." Ka'Mari spoke calling her a name he used to call her when they were younger to annoy her causing kior to slightly frown rubbing her arms for comfort.
It's like life was going so good then it all came crashing down.
What if she would've made Ma'Kylin stay in the house a little longer.
"I'm trying Mari it's just so hard not to think negatively." she spat rubbing her eyelids irritatingly.
Kiorlynn hadn't been getting no good sleep unless it was with Jahani but even then she wouldn't sleep a full night.
"Try not to make any assumptions we all going in here not knowing what's going to happen. All we can really do is hope for the best." Ka'Mari responded giving her a look through the review mirror.
Kiorlynn huffed slouching in her seat, she couldn't wait until this moment was over and just a distant memory of the past and Ma'Kylin was back to normal.
Until that time came she was going to have to be strong for Jahani and herself.
Noticing the traffic they were getting into caused her to lay back placing her arms over her sore eyes slowly closing them so she could fall asleep.
"Good afternoon Mr. Wright I hope you've had a well enough sleep." Said the middle aged caucasian man dressed in his very neat scrubs, a clip board in hand big glasses with wide frames sitting on the bridge of his very fat pointed nose, an eerily smile on his face.
