How the "f" could she do this to me??
Urgh! How could she think i would break our friendship because of Drake?? How could she think i would ditch her like that?? Hey c'mon, i might be anything but not a mean girl. Nuh uh. How could she think i could be so self absorbed? So ignorant? Jeez...
I shuddered at the thought of it. She is gonna have to answer me right now. And so i called her.
She picked up on the first ring.
"Hey Mel. Look I am sorry for..."
"Oh shut up An."
"I know i should not have.."
" I said shut up An!"
Then there was a brief second of silence which almost felt like hours for us.
"An" , I said, finally breaking the silence, " How could you think I would break up with my sis just like that? How could you think I could be so .... so .... m-mean??" I said, finally breaking into sobs at the end. I don't know why.... but holy heavens..the bloody dam just burst.
" OH MY GOSH! I loooooooooooveeeeeeeeee youuuuuu MEl!!!!!!!!! I love you so dang much" She said, screaming on the top of her lungs.
"I love you so dang much too Andy baby. Never. Never ever ever ever ever ever ......... ever ever..... try to think like that. I dare you."
" Ooh I am scared. Don't worry that is not happening anywhere near the distant future."
" So cheers to us!"
" Cheers.!!"
Again a small little break there. ....The silence before the storm.
"Uh Mel? Do you.. i mean ... do you really like him?''
UH-OH. Now was the time for the confrontations. I could make out from her tone that she dreaded this part as much as I did.
" I don't think so....." *brief pause* " I guess"
"Oh...Okay.. I get it... But no matter what, we will stick around."
" Oh i bet my bottom dollar. No two ways 'bout it."
" Hey so you wanna grab some pizza or fries?"
"Urgh An!"
"What now? What did i say?"
" No.. i mean.. Urgh, i gotta pack for a two week's stay at my grandma's place so I really need to go now. So i guess we will have to save the pizza for later."
"Okie. Alrighty. See ya later then."
"Laters.. Bye!"
