Sarah stared deeply in his eyes getting lost in them.

"I-I...." She stutter. Her palms were sweaty and she couldn't believe how nervous she became.

Junaid patiently waited for her  to speak.

"I-I want to... say." She mumbled.

"What is it Sarah?" He asked irritatedly.

Taking a deep breath and she looked at him again.

"I-I love you. I have kept this inside my heart for a long time Junaid..... I love you. I always have it's just that I realised it late." She said swallowing the lump her mouth felt dry as if she ran a marathon. Junaid kept quiet just stared at her. She felt like fainting his silence was just too much for her to handle.

Junaid blankly stared at her but, inside he was shock from her revealation. It took a few moment for him to understand what she said was something he never expected to hear from Sarah.

Suddenly Junaid let out a dry chuckle looking away from her. Sarah felt everything around her stop the moment he finally spoke.

"Sarah....I don't love you...You don't love me....it's just you like my presence that's it. You're getting it wrong." He tried to convince.

Sarah felt hurt. He misunderstood her love to something else which hurt her more then his intended refusal.

"N-no I'm not. I'm not getting it wrong, I love you Junaid...I really do. I love you more than anything." She breathed. Her eyes watered but she controlled herself.

"Sarah....We can't be together. I don't love you. I have always thought of you as my boss's daughter that's it. Nothing more.  We both are very different. The life I lead is not something you want and your life not something I like." He said getting up from his chair. Sarah reciprocate him and came a little closer to him.

"Junaid please I really love so much. I can't imagine myself with anyone but you. I'll live the way you want. I will change myself. I will do anything for you." She softly mumbled holding his hand as tears fell down her face.

Junaid looked at their joined hands and took his hand away from her hold and spoke.

"You don't need to change yourself for someone Sarah. I don't want you to change, be the way you always have been. You don't deserve me. You deserve someone who you could proudly talk about to your friends." He mumbled softly. Sarah wailed pleading him with her eyes.

Please take those words back.... Please. You cannot do this to me. God.... don't be so cruel with me...I know I did a lot of  bad deeds but I will beg my whole life for your compassion....please don't take him away from me.

Please....

Junaid just didn't know how to stop her from crying...couldn't comprehend what to do in these situations. When Qindeel used to cry he would naturally make her stop weeping, she used to say he's a good listener for someone who's sad. He never believed it. With Sarah crying he doesn't what to do.

Suddenly she hugged him. Making him freeze.

"Please....don't do this." She cried making Junaid sighed.

"You're knowledgeable, beautiful Sarah. You don't deserve some errand boy. You'll find someone better." Saying this he broke the hug and left quietly.

It felt like thousands of needles were pierced inside her heart. Due to so much crying she struggled to breathe. She doesn't know who to blame her fate? Her mother? Junaid? Or Qindeel?

I expected this then why it feels so painful. My heart.... it feels like dying. I know h-he loves her t-then why it hurts so much.

Why....

*****

Qindeel couldn't believe Sarah confessed him. She stared at Junaid who casually played with her braid slowly removing the band freeing her hair.

"I-I don't know what to say..." She found it hard to comprehend and from what she heard from other girls in the brothel Sarah is just like her mother....cruel. Rekha always choose to torture others more in physical way but Sarah is not someone who like violence. She like to drain others mentally.

"Then don't say anything just let it go." Junaid said smelling her hair. Qindeel glared at him hitting his arm.

"How can you be so calm about it. What if she tried to do something?" Junaid glared at her back and took her hairs back in his hands.

"Even if she does something then let her do it."

"What if you lose your job?" Sighing Junaid replied.

"Dil I don't care about it. I'll find another one I am not going to stop living just because she is going to be there."

Qindeel sighed looking outside the window.

"Your hair smells nice."
