Beyond the Border Line

The unexpected

I stiffen when I hear Jace call my name. I turn around slowly trying not to make eye contact. I hear his footsteps closing in on me and I close my eyes. I stay standing still until I feel a pair of arms pull me into a hug. I quickly wrap my arms around him and feel a tear run down my cheek.

"What the fuck where you thinking?" Jace whispers. I pull back to look at him.

"I-I don't know. I just needed to get away from him," I say pointing at Jeff. He raises his hands, still cuffed together, in the air in surrender. I look back at Alexander with a small smile and pull him towards Jace till they face each other.

"Umm, Jace....This is Alexander. My mate," I say slowly. I stare at them and sense some tension.

"Well, as long as you don't do anything crazy...I guess I'm...okay?" Jace says awkwardly. My small smile goes into a sad frown and I look down.

"Actually, I kind of made a deal with Alexander," I say still not looking up. Jace looks at me ,then at Alexander, then at me again.

"What kind of deal?" he says with his anger rising. I look up cautiously and wipe away a few tears on my cheek.

"He would let me come see you if I....stayed with him at his pack."  Sebastian shakes his head with anger and looks like if he's gonna jump on Alexander but backs down. He shifts into his wolf and runs back into the woods. Jace didn't take this the same way. Instead his eyes went black and pounced on Alexander in wolf form.

Alexander gets knocked down but pushes Jace off him before they touch the ground. They both get up and Alexander shifts as well. They run at each other with loud growls and snarls while scratching and biting each other. They get on their hind legs and continue on the biting and scratching.

"Stop! Jace! Alexander! Please stop!" I yell at them before doing another stupid thing. I shift and run under them to get in between. 

Bad idea...

Jace bites my front paw while scratching my neck leaving a bloody gash and Alexander scratches and bites my stomach leaving a deep bleeding gash, thinking it was them fighting each other. I yelp and wine softly before fainting and falling in my wolf form, on the ground. 

Jace and Alexander stop as they hear the thud and look at me. Jace shifts into his human and calls the pack doctor, the Alpha and Seb for help in the pack link.

As they arrive and help me up into the pack house, Jace gets some clothes and grabs Jeff who was sitting through the whole thing and Alexander follows them to the packs hospital to try and wake me up.

I wake up to the sound of beeping and stand up but I quickly go back down from the pain on my neck and stomach. I lift my head and look at my body. I'm still in my wolf form and have some bandages wrapped around my gashes. I look around the room and remember that this is the hospital in our pack.

I notice Jace, the Alpha, Sebastian and Alexander outside the room talking with angry face. I turn my head as I try to read their lips to see what their talking about. The alpha stops talking as he sees i'm awake. He says something before they all walk in towards me.
