I stare at the man now covered in a large t-shirt. We haven't broken eye contact since he said my name. It's been twenty minutes and still he hasn't said anything about how he knows me, why he's here and who he is.
I feel a hand on my shoulder causing me to break eye contact with the man. I turn around to see Jace looking at me worriedly.
"You okay?" he asks calmly. I nod and turn to the alpha who is giving instructions.
"Everyone head back to the cellar and wait till farther notice." Everyone including the man starts walking back. I turn around to give the border line one last glance before I head back. Something or someone is calling me, telling me to cross it.
'Hurry up, this is our chance to find out whats calling us' my wolf wines.
'But what if we get in trouble?' I ask. I can feel my wolf pacing back and forth in my mind eager to cross the line.
'We'll cross it later okay? I'm....just not completely sure I want to find out whats over there.' I say. She stops wining and calms down, satisfied with my answer. I turn around and start heading back to the cellars to find out who this man is and what he wants.

1 hour later
I let out a heavy breathe to calm down. Its been nearly an hours since we came back from the woods and he hasn't told us anything.
"Please for the millionth time, tell me how you know me and who you are," I demand. He chuckles and stares at me will his deadly brown eyes.
"Okay princess, you win. I'll tell you everything in exchange for freedom," he says. Jace growls but he ignores it and keeps staring at me.
"What kind of freedom?"I ask.
"The freedom to roam inside and outside your pack boundary when ever I want " he says with a smirk. I think this over and decide to accept his deal without him knowing I will slaughter him next time I see him.
"Okay. Now tell me what you know," I state. Me and Jace grab a chair and sit in front of the man.
"My name is Jeff " he says. Jace rolls his eyes and breaths out a heavy sigh.
"I know who you are Alice because I knew your mother. I was there in your house when the rouges attacked your pack." My eyes grow as wide at this new information. Jace isn't handling this good though. His eyes are now black orbs and is breathing heavily.
"I was the one who killed your mother. The one who actually made it out alive. Too bad you weren't there to see me." he says in a very deadly calm tone. I stand up and throw my chair at the wall causing him to frown. Jace stands with black orbs once again.
"Calm down, Alice. I know its really hard bu-," I cut him off.
"No its not okay! I didn't get a chance to say goodbye or see her face one last time before she died!"I yell at him. He tries reaching out for me but I back up and turn towards the door.
"It's not okay," I whisper to myself. I start running towards the door and make my way to the forest. I hear Jace call my name from close behind but I keep running forward. I decide to go to my hideout to grab my extra clothes.
I make sure he doesn't follow my scent by going in many different directions. I finally make it and quickly grab everything I might need.
I change into my wolf, put my bag in my mouth carefully and head to the border line.
'It's about time' my wolf teases. I ignore it and run faster to the line. As I see it up closer than I ever had before, I feel more eager to go through. I breathe in and out once, open my eyes not looking back, and cross it.
