Long, painted nails thrummed a staccato rhythm on the desk. Sasha couldn't help but let her eyes stray to the clock on the wall, cursing internally as she realized that only forty-five seconds had passed since the last time she looked, which had been forty-five seconds, etc, etc. This was her last class of the day, and the sun shined through the window of the classroom. All they were doing was waiting for the bell tower on the campus courtyard to toll. Then it would be one o'clock, and Sasha would be dorm-room bound, to call Faye and tell her that she was done with school.

The vibe of summer was tangible in the air. It was the feel of freedom, the smell of boiling asphalt, the voice of the light breeze that made every thigh sweat-stuck to the plastic chair bounce in eagerness. Sasha's eyes traveled from the clock that seemed to be programmed to count the seconds even slower, to the window.

A sleek, black Harley Davidson motorcycle was pulled up on the sidewalk to the entrance of the building. Sasha's eyes widened as she took it in the tall, slim, feminine figure leaning against her bike, a second helmet tucked under her armpit. Sasha would have recognized the purple section of hair from anywhere, and she immediately stood up, drawing the attention of the classroom.

"Ms. Song!" The voice of the professor called out.

"Huh?" Sasha tossed back, still looking out the window. "Oh! I- I'm sorry professor." A blush overtook her cheeks, and she slowly sat back down, gaze still glued to Faye. The clock ticked ever slowly, time being the only thing keeping the couple separated.

Faye's eyes scanned the building, to no avail. The windows were tinted, keeping her from being able to spot her loves face. She only prayed that Sasha had a window seat. She bounced one leg rapidly, anxious to see Sasha walk out those doors and into her arms.

Sasha was dead to the world, day dreaming of Faye. She jumped out of her seat when she heard the bell toll, shoved her books in her bag, and tore out of the classroom before she could hear the professor say, "Have a great summer! Read a book!"

Giggles over took the blonde girl as she pushed her way to the front of the crowd, effectively earning a few glares and mutters. Sasha didn't care. The only thing that mattered was the woman on the sidewalk. Pushing through the crowd, the lovelorn girl searched desperately for Faye. As sh had hit 5'5" in the tenth grade, and then stopped all growing from that point on, trying to bob her head to see over those in front of her was pointless. It took a solid six minutes until someone shoved past her, shoving her to the edge of the glob of student. From there, Sasha could see the sleek motorcycle that had come to whisk her away to her fairy tale.

Throwing her backpack onto the ground along with her books, Sasha took off at a run to the Faye. Faye, who at this point was impatient to the point of driving off to take a lap around the parking lot to steel her nerves, picked out the light footfall aimed towards her, and tilted her head to the wind. She only had a moment to widen her eyes before Sasha was all but atop her, the petite girls arms wrapped around Faye's shoulders, a vice not to be broken.

Faye's throaty laugh only tightened Sasha's arms tighter as the pair embraced, leaning lightly against the bike.

"Hey there."

Faye could've sworn to God she heard Sasha whimper.

The couple held each other tightly, so closely, for such an extended period of time, they were answered with more than a few dirty glances from others.

"You came," Sasha whispered into the nook of Faye's collar bone.

"Yeah, 'course I did." Her nose rested on the crown of her dancer's head, burying it in the vanilla sweet smell of Sasha.

Sasha was hyper-aware of Faye's movements, drawing into her as she shifted back. Together, they we're the perfect pull and push of the ocean, flowing as one. So of course, Sasha felt when Faye pulled back and held her from moving forward. She looked up with a questioning expression that was quickly wiped off of her face when she realized how close they were to each other.

There was a split second where Sasha sighed out, "You're so real." A smirk overcame Faye's features as she held the girl below her. Sasha's eyebrow quirked in mild annoyance, realizing Faye wanted her to work for it. She pushed herself onto the balls of her feet in an instance, pressing her full lips against Faye's soft ones.

Sasha had never understood when the movies droned on and on about how "they were the only two in the room and the world stopped spinning," until now. It was her and Faye among the stars, two heartbeats locked together in one passionate duet. They seemed to melt into each other, each of them a steel sword clashing against the other, red hot as the sparks flew between them.

Sasha was the first to lean back to suck in air, leaning against Faye's chest to compensate for the lightheaded-ness.

"Ah!" Sasha squeaked out as she felt Faye dive in to the side of her neck and shoulder, planting small kisses along the way. "F- Feather! W- We're in public! In front of people I k-know" She pressed, her feet shaking in her leather sandals. Faye let out a forlorn sigh as she pulled away, locking her eyes with Sasha's hazel ones.

"I know."

Faye leaned down once, twice, three times to peck her lips against Sasha's, before stepping back from her. Their bodies no longer touched, but they left their fingers linked together. Sasha's face burned a brilliant red, where as Faye's was barely tinted, her confidence being the only thing keeping her from matching Sasha's crimson.

The books on the campus lawn were long forgotten as Faye wrapped her hands around Sasha's small hips, earning another squeak from the girl. Swiftly, she sat Sasha on the seat of her bike, climbing on in front of her. She felt Sasha's thin arms wind their way around her waist, the way she sighed against her neck, and the way she rested her delicate face against her shoulder blade.

The bike roared to life, and Sasha struggled to project her voice over the rippling purr. "Where are we going?"

Faye called back over her shoulder, kicking the kick stand up against the bike. "Do you really care?"

Sasha tossed her a deviant smile, startling as the bike kicked into motion.

"As long as it's somewhere with you."
