Mount Talladega prided themselves on being the picture perfect postcard for what civilization should look like, especially after a devastating event like a nuclear apocalypse.

The fairly large community represented new beginnings for those who had survived the end of their former world. It was their first taste of normalcy, if you will. It was considered the ultimate paradise for those who wanted to escape the reality of the outside world.

A world that was painted red with death, was considered something of the past to those who lived within the secure walls of Mount Talladega. No longer did they have to worry about the fear and pain of the unknown but for once, they could live like normal human beings, something their ancestors took for granted.

But despite how perfect the community may look on the outside, nobody realized that there were catastrophic secrets hiding in between the cracks.

The biggest secret of them all was that nobody and I mean, basically nobody, except for the Council, knew about the delinquents currently adventure on the ground.

The Council believed that it was better to keep this operation a secret from the rest of their population as it would alleviate any sense of panic. People would go about their daily lives as if everything was normal and they needed that, especially during a time of crisis.

If their citizens knew about what was really happening in their home then it would breed absolute chaos. And they could not have that.

It was better to continue lying to their people that everything was going to be fine. They continued to allow these countless amount of parents to go to bed each night, not knowing that their child was no longer in the comfort of their own home and instead, had been forced to live in the radiated world.

It was for the common good of their society or that's what the Council liked to tell themselves.

But despite, the delinquents being thousands of miles away from them, they still tried their best to keep track of each and every single one of them. They did used all of their power and resources to do whatever they could to stay closely in touch with them, no matter what.
