Freminet x Reader

"You're not ordinary, you're something special"

(Btw I'm doing most chapters for Freminet and Lyney because I don't see much of them, I'm debating on more for Furina)

3rd Person Pov:

You were relaxing by the water to relieve some built up stress you had. Mother has been getting really upset at you because your best isn't my best, she's never satisfied and asks you for more and more each time. It hurt and you needed a mental break from all of it. You rested yourself on the sand, looking at the water. You thought for a moment that, it wouldn't hurt to go at least a bit into the water, so you did. You stepped into the water and it was cold, but refreshing, and soon enough you found yourself just playing in the water until you saw something flowing in the water. You stepped closer to it but each stepped seemed to have made the thing step back. As you kept going closer and closer you fell into the water and started sinking deep. You weren't a professional swimmer, so you couldn't swim your way out of it and soon enough your lungs started to burn and slowly you became unconscious.

"Hey, wake up"

You woke up and immediately threw up a pool of water. Can't recalling what exactly happened at the moment other than the fact that you were looking at something you examined the area and saw a boy with blonde hair and a freckled face with icy blue eyes next to you. You almost hit him out of fear but realized what happened and that this boy might've actually been the one that saved your life.

"Are..you okay?" The boy asked, staring at you with worry

"Y-Yes...I'm..fine.."

The boy checked to see that you were quite literally about to have frostbite. His eyebrows furrowed and he picked you up, carrying you in his arms and backed to somewhere you weren't familiar with which made you kind of freak out. It didn't go unnoticed to the boy and he let out a sigh.

"It's okay, I'm just giving you a place to stay for now so you can warm up" he told you, adverting his gaze back to the direction he was walking in

"Okay"

"What's your name?"

"My name?"

"Yes, I believe that's what I asked"

"My name...is Y/N L/N"

"Hm, okay"

"What's yours?" You asked him making him look at you then away again

"It's...Freminet"

You nodded and Freminet put you down to open the door to what you assumed to be his house. He stepped aside to let you in and when you walked inside you saw Lyney and Lynette, the famous magicians of Fontaine. They looked at you, then Freminet, then each other, and back to you.

"Um, who is this Freminet?" Lyney questioned

"Allow me to explain brother"

Once Freminet was done explaining they offered you fish and shrimp soup to warm you up which you happily accepted and ate. It took a few days during the time you stayed you and Freminet bonded and after you were well Freminet had enough confidence to hang out with you more and soon enough he developed feelings for you. He never thought he could talk this much to someone other than his two siblings but somehow you were different. You made him come out of his shell and he was even willing to teach you a few swimming lessons. Today was the day he offered it and you agreed.

Y/N's Pov:

I had to go meet Freminet today at the beach so I changed into something that was less thick than the clothes that I usually wear, but thick enough to not be see through. Once I got dressed and grabbed all of my stuff I headed out and went to the beach. When I arrived there Freminet was sitting on the sand with two sets of diving gear. He spotted you and got motioned you to come over, which you did.

"Glad to see that you came Y/N, hopefully this isn't really boring for you since...well...its fun to me so you might just like it" he told you

"Well Freminet anything that involves spending time with you will be something I'll like" you replied back making him blush a bit

"Yeah well erm, so are you ready?"

"Yep, ready!"

"Okay well, I need you to go get changed into this swimsuit for me please, i-if you can"

He handed you a swimsuit and you scanned around, finding a bathroom for both men and women. You went to go change and Freminet waited until you came out. When you were ready he started to lead you a bit into the water and held you. He told you what position you had to be in and what to do to swim. It took a while, though you were starting to get the hang of it.

"How about we go look at the tidalgas?"

"The what?"

"You don't know what that is?"

"Am I supposed to?"

"Come with me"

He put a scuba mask with a snorkel on your face and wrapped one of his arms wound your waist and one around your shoulder. He begin to swim down into the water, looking for some tidalga. You looked and saw a few cute otters that actually started to follow you both around but eventually stopping and returning to their places. What caught your eye the most was a pretty Romaritime flower that practically glowed in the sea. It's various faded color made you want to take one home. Freminet noticed and but continued on swimming until he finally found some tidalgas. Freminet had told you that he liked them since they don't judge you or seem disappointed, they just float around. You spend about 5 minutes pointing out what made the creatures so pretty to you which made Freminet smile at the fact that you liked them too. Once you guys were done with swimming you just sat staring at the sunset together. Freminet attempted to hold your hand, but the closest he could get to your hand wasn't enough to touch it, only moving it slightly closer.

"You know Y/N..I really don't know why you even waste your time on me, aren't I a disappointment to you? I'm just..ordinary"

"You're not ordinary, you're something special, to me. You saved me with your good swimming skills Freminet, no ordinary person can swim as well as you. And no ordinary person can make my life better and make me feel special like you do, they couldn't make me love you like I love you either"

"You..love me?"

"Yeahhh but that slipped out I didn't mean to tell you so early I mean it's fine if you don't-"

"Y/N slow down please, I love you too but I didn't want to say anything because.."

"I know Freminet, you can't even really socialize with people so that's why I wasn't expecting you to come through first, that's why I did it myself"

"Well, what does this make us then?"

"Lovers, my love"

"W-Well that's great! And..uh, I got these for you while you weren't looking" Freminet says holding up a bouquet of the Romaritime flowers. You gasped and happily took them, kissing his cheek and making him turn a shade a of red.

"You just get greater every day Freminet"
