3rd Person Pov;
Y/N L/N, a well known criminal around Fontaine who got away with a lot of crimes. It was like you were a master at it and people started losing hope that you would ever be caught until finally a certain day you were caught by the Chief Justice, Neuvillette. After a few days your trial was finished and you were sentenced to 10 years in prison since the crimes were just of stealing, although for a long time. Today you sat in your jail cell in Fortress of Meropide where you had to be watched by different people each day. It was the usual, staring at the ceiling until you heard the door open to the room making you stop and look to see Wriothesley, the administrator of this place. Usually you'd just not pay attention any longer to the person who had to watch you but Wriothesley was different. He was tall, muscular and well built, handsome, and serious. He didn't say a word to you and just sat by the cell, having his eyes on you. You took a glance back at him and there you both locked eyes for a bit before you looked away, now getting a bit flustered. It was silent and you were growing bored until Wriothesley finally spoke up.
"So, you're the brat named Y/N that was going around stealing from people for a good amount of time huh?" He asked, looking at you and grinning a bit that was unnoticeable for you
"And what if I am?"
"Ah..so I've gotten to the right person then"
"Right person? What do you mean?"
"Oh don't worry about that right now, let's just continue on with the conversation we have now. So, is there ANYTHING else you do besides stealing from other people?" Wriothesly asked, picking up a snarky tone making you roll your eyes
"Well besides that I actually do like painting, before stealing became my job I actually wanted to be a painter and sell some work, but uhm...yeah"
"Well I bet your art is wonderful, maybe you should just try and get yourself out of here by behaving like a good girl and instead go with your paintings, wouldn't that be much better instead of being thrown in prison?"
"That would be a miracle, but I really can't do that.."
Wriothesley raised an eyebrow in confusion. Clearly he didn't understand why it was such a struggle for you to do a much simpler job that wouldn't land you into jail. He stepped closer to the cell, now leaning on the bars.
"And may I ask why?"
"It's..complicated but I didn't even want to be here in the first place"
"Then why is it so hard to just be better?"
"Because..because my boyfriend made me do all of this for him"
