CHAPTER ONE: AN ENEMY?

Megapolis, a bustling city, is known for it's advanced technology and it's fast paced growth unlike most city. Even though it has advanced farther than most cities, they still have love and respect for their cultures and traditions.

A worthy example of this is a noodle shop down zhuhai street. This shop is owned by a great chef, Pigsy, and has been running it since it was handed down to him. His ancestors built this long ago and it still stands strong.

"Order up!" Pigsy's voice chimed around the shop to which a boy immediately rushed and grabbed the bowl from him. "On it, Boss!" The boy, MK, rushed to a table and placed the bowl of noodles on it. "Here's your order, Ma'am!" He enthusiastically alerted the busy lady, who was on her phone, of the arrived food.

MK slid away and hopped onto a tall stool in front of the bar. He sighed and leaned back. "Phew.. this day has been so busy!" He watched customers live and enter. He watched others pay and order while other cleaned their mess and left some tip. He smiled and got off, getting to do his job again. The hours went by and MK couldn't pretend anymore.

"WHERE IS THE MONKEY KING!!!??"

He yelled, groaning afterwards as he ruffled his own hair. "Quiet down, kid." A familiar raspy voice called behind him. From the shadow emerged a familiar grinning face, The Six Eared Macaque. "Macaque!? What are you d-" MK's question was cut short as Macaque slapped his mouth with his hand. "I said, quiet down. You're as lousy as Wukong when you're upset." He chuckled, leaning against the bar of the shop.

"Wukong's gone for the mountain and I thought he would be chilling with his favorite student."

MK looked confused for a moment before he hopped on to the same stool from earlier. "Oh! Well, he's not here. Actually, he did leave a message but I..." He sheepishly giggled, grabbing his phone. Macaque shot him with an unassumed look before huffing. MK looked through his message list til he found Wukong's message. "Visiting someone in heaven, be back later this year! You know how time works from here and there, right? Okay, bye!!" MK loudly and slowly, a very painfully slow rate, read the message.

"AWWW! COME ON!" MK pouted, shoving his phone into his pocket. "Who could he visiting and why a year!?" He looked over at Macaque who, in all fairness, fell asleep. "HEY!" MK yelled which brought the simian awake. "Wha- Oh, my bad. You read so slow." The shadow monkey insulted him which made MK frown deeper. Macaque groaned and opened a portal. "Well, now I know where Wukong is, I'll bother him. Okay, Bye!" He stepped through the portal.

Out of full impulse, MK jumped right through and kicked Macaque's back in the process. "OOF-"

They made it through and MK stood up in awe while Macaque laid on the ground in pain. "This place has gotten nicer!!" MK, again, loudly yelled. This shook the guards patrolling and started to chase them. "AHH!" Mk panicked and picked up Macaque, running away. "get back here!!" One of the guards yelled. They were chased around for a whole 5 minutes.

MK ran into a random palace door and dropped Macaque beside him. "Okay, I think we lost them." MK cautiously said. The latter one groaned and gasped, realizing where they were. "Sh..." He nearly swore, looking back to push MK and himself out. "WOAH!?!? WHAT IS THIS PLACE!?" MK loudly gasped, complimenting the whole interior. "Who's there?" A voice echoed by the stairway. "Oh! We're-" Macaque slapped MK's mouth close and shushed him. MK raised his brow at him.

The shadow monkey opening his mouth to explain, the voice spoke again. "Hello? I know somebody is down there..."

Ominous silence.

The person walked away, leaving wherever they were just then.

"What was that about!?" MK loudly whispered. Macaque pursed his bottom lip before he sighed. "We're in the Li Family's Palace. We shouldn't be here!" The latter explained. 'Li? Li...?' MK thought for a while before he gasped. "Maybe Wukong visited Nezha! We could be at the right place!" Before Macaque could respond to that stupid idea, the ground below them shook.

Everything faded black.

So dark.

"So... who are you two?" The voice is back!

MK opened his eyes and looked around. He was struggling but he was held down on the ground by vines. 'OH NOOO!!' He panicked even more. He looked around and soon noticed the person in front of him. He whimpered and inched back. He bumped into the wall, very much cornered. Macaque was dangling in the ceiling and this person probably locked their only way out.

"Hey! Answer me question, intruder!!"

His attention returned back to them. They had black hair but the front bangs faded into orange. A pink offshoulder dress with sleeves. They had a lotus petals as a clip on their hair. "I- I'm..." MK slowly spoke. The person looked more and more intrigued to know. "I'M NOT TELLING!!" He looked away and pouted. The person, not expecting that, took a step back. "Wha-!? YOU!" They huffed and pulled out a familiar weapon. 'Nezha's ribbon!?! Are they family??' MK thought.

"I guess-" The person began to speak when MK spoke up and disturbed their 'monologue'.

"ARE YOU NEZHA'S LITTLE SIBLING!?"

What a stupid question it might have been cause the other one began to giggle. MK began to sweat and Macaque had just woke up. The person's giggle turned into a laugh. "Oh gosh." Macaque rolled his eyes and sighed.

"I am not 'Nezha's little sibling'! Your mortal eyes are blind to the truth!" MK is more confused and concerned now.

"Then... Who are you?"

"Who am I? Well, if you insist to know."

'Here we go...' Macaque thought.

"I am the Little Lotus Princess! I was born from a lotus flower. I am Li Tianshi! Daughter of the Third Lotus Prince!"

"NEZHA'S WHAT!?"
